The default sound should be better for podcasts. I find that bassy speakers result in boomy voices, therefore I prefer my tiny JBL Go for that use case. The bass-ier JBL Flip 3 is better for music. IMO, it’s good to have an option, i.e. switch in the LG.

LG XBOOM Go PL7 aux line sound issues, I have this one and although bluetooth works well, sound through the 3.5 mm port is awful and barely audible, it is literally night and day. Do not get this if you are using it with anything other than bluetooth connection. Have been unable to resolve with app updates as well. LG is non-responsive on the issue.

Thank you I thought I made it super clear this was an ad and sponsored. Now if I called it a review and never disclosed it as sponsored then I would understand the hate as that is wrong. And many on KZbin do paid reviews and never disclose the fact. If I do more sponsored videos it will be disclosed as such.

With other brands such as Sony and JBL you can hook up 2 units and have a very nice stereo system. With this you can't. You can only get dual mono. That is an epic fail from LG.

With que LG pl7 you have the option to connect 100 speakers (pl5 or pl7) in mono and also 2 speakers in stereo (but both needs to be pl7), you can also connect it with your LG tv.

The sound boost mode increases the lows the highs and the mids. LOL that's called a volume control.

😂 It's not just that, it boosts them all with an equalizer. So not a simple volume boost but pumping up the low frequencies for more bass, highs, and mids.

Noted. At least I made it clear it was sponsored. It supports SBC and AAC codec, no AptX support sadly, the price you can find from the link in this video since prices always change I don't normally mention them.

So LG gave you money to say this is the best BT speaker in it's size class, or at least that's what I have to assume is what happened here. Nice. How am I supposed to trust anything you say in your other videos if you say stuff like this on a sponsored video? If you want to be a trustworthy source of information and still do sponsored videos, just do an unboxing, show the product and tell the features and specs of the device, but don't give it any buying recommendations, compare it to other products or even say whether the product is good (or bad), whether it sounds good when talking about a speaker and so on. Giving a product any sort of praise on a sponsored video is highly suspicious. If you let a company buy a product recommendation or a (positive) review from you, we can't trust you. What happens now if some company comes up with a better speaker and they send it to you for a review tomorrow? Are you allowed to say it's better than the LG? How about if you do a round-up review of a bunch of speakers? Are you allowed to say the LG isn't as good as another speaker? Are you allowed to tell the negative aspects of the LG speaker? And if you do a round-up review like that and choose the LG as the winner, how do we know it's your genuine opinion and not because of the money LG gave you and whatever strings were attached to that money? We don't know any of this stuff and that's why we can't now trust what you say when you talk about anything related to this BT speaker. I know sponsored videos are an important source of revenue for many (tech) youtube channels. There are ways to do sponsored videos and still stay trustworthy (don't review the product and don't give any personal opinions or remarks about it on the sponsored video). Or you can do sponsored videos like this LG one and become untrustworthy. I don't mean to be an a-hole, I'm just pointing out the ethical issues with sponsored videos such as this one. I also know it's none of my business how someone runs their channel. Every channel decides for themselves how they want to run things. But people can also decide who they can and can't trust, and when they don't trust you, they'll probably go somewhere else for the information they need.

It's not a review, never would I do a sponsored review. Besides it's clearly labeled and I said it's sponsored and even the title states #ad. How do you expect me to pay for all the tech I buy to review ? I just spent thousands on the new Xiaomi laptops I reviewed, 3 of them. Doing a video like this helps cover half the cost of one laptop like that. But noted you will not see many videos like this. Again it's not a review it's an advert I'm sorry thst wasn't clear it was sponsored and a paid ad.

@@Techtablets As is obious in my previous comment, I do realise this is a sponsored video. But you're reviewing the product on the video even if this isn't labeled as a review. As I also said in my previous comment, sponsored videos can be done in a way that is not ethically questionable. At least the title now says "Best Bluetooth Speaker for the size?" instead of "Best Bluetooth Speaker for the size!", which made it look like you're recommending people to buy one of those speakers.

Because that's exactly what happens if reviewers let their ethics slide and take some money from companies and in return they make favorable reviews/videos about bad products. I'm not talking about this channel specifically, but in general. Any kind of a review should be completely no strings attached. Sponsored videos shouldn't include opinions whether a product is good or not.
