Hare Krishna, Thank you for your comments in this video. It is true, Krishna resides in all living beings as the super soul. He does not discriminate. As long as one is following regulative principles and doing devotional service then they will see progression in their spiritual life. Pride and LGBTQA+ exists because people have decided to lead their honest lives. It takes a lot for someone to say that they are trans or lgbt as the majority of society does not see everyone as the soul which is why they feel the need to celebrate who they are. That’s why we must respect all persons and not judge. No one can stop anybody who has already developed love for Krishna as Krishna never let’s go of those that truly love him. Besides the soul is genderless and continues moving from body to body, you can choose whether you want to be positive and love or be negative and hate. At the end of the day, what will be will be. Nothing can happen without Krishna’s sanction, therefore we should understand that this is part of his creation as it exists before us. Where there is love there is Krishna. Choose wisely. Haribol.

Hare Krishna prji Dandavat Pranam 🙏 Thanks for sharing your thoughts over this sensitive issue. Prji, you very aptly described the whole situation and the solution. Just one question I had that sometimes people quote from Manu smriti and other scriptures where homosexuality and other such acts are actually demonized, and it's just presented as a problem of lust in the consciousness. So here I feel that when we try to explain people about the acceptance part, people might not agree. Although they might agree that ultimately we need to transend this whole issue, but how can we respond when people quote scriptures to support their point of demonization or non acceptance?

As brahmana or aspiring brahmana you have to tell the truth no matter how controversial or hard it is. That cannot be hard for real brahmana or a monk. Now, what's truth for brahmana? The truth is everything that defends material dharma and spiritual dharma. You have to explain it no matter how hard it is for someone to comprehend. If you are wishy washy spiritualist and want to explain everything as everything is love, we all seek love, we are all souls, and such new age phrases, you are not real brahmana or vaishnava and you will never be true one at least in this life.

​@sarbantz Haribol! I fully agree with you. One should never compromise in the name of so-called political correctness. All of these materialistic ideologies are features of Kali-yuga and we should be ready to challenge them in all circumstances.

@@TheChulha By vast majority, nowadays political correctness is just a sentiment easily mistaken for compassion. If you don't support it, you are against compassion and consequently a very bad person. Sentiment is an emotional extension of your ego. It makes you feel good about yourself, you are advanced because you have some higher morals than others. In reality, nothing good material nor spiritual comes out of sentiment in a long run. Now, how come sentiment is mistaken for compassion by someone who studies advanced vaishnava philosophy like the OP? Vaishnavism is supposed to put everything in the right place be it material or spiritual. What are material rules and arrangements that help spiritual advancement, and we are supposed to accept according to Bhagavad Gita? Well, Hare Krishna movement does not have cow protection established. Mother cow is supposed to "teach" true compassion and the lifestyle society needs. When you are born, your real mother teaches you compassion which includes self responsibility. Later, it's cow care that keeps you compassionate. Without cow protection, all sorts of negative ideas will be accepted as compassion because they just sound good, they just make someone who is full of emotional fragility. Therefore, don't be surprised if "advanced" vaishnavas mix true compassion for sentiment especially in the West.

Great point of view. Agree to some extent but disagree as well. No girl that wants to be like a boy will go through surgery or decide too. Unless they are transgender. That spiritual part you said is what causes that. I am part of the lgbt community and I have yet to see a girl or women who just wants to say be strong like a boy or men will go through surgery to achieve it. If you workout hard you can achieve this (i have seen this in many women). However, if a girl looks at a boy and say wait I want to have a deep voice like a boy (after he goes to puberty). I would think that would fall in line of transgender. Also, I know of many lgbt folk that wish one day we wouldn’t have to have Pride celebrations and that respect or acceptance (and no one doesn’t have to agree with it) is just it.

I agree and appreciate the idea that you believe discrimination against the LGBTQ community is wrong. However, some of what you said makes it sound like you're operating under the assumption that people who are transgender and transition cannot trascend prakriti because they over identify with the body. And I don't agree with that at all. I think with regards to the "P" section of your acronymn, in the US at least, there's a lot of scapegoating of the transgender community. Which I think is disgusting. All this being said, I am incredibly grateful that some parts of ISKCON are becoming welcoming and fully accepting of the LGBTQ+ community. The most beautiful example I can think of is New Vrindaban. Hare Krishna! 🙏🏼

So, that is the extreme form of lust that's set. But as a boy comes at the age of puberty does his parents require him to teach to be attracted towards a girl, the answer is obviously...... no. Because in general krishna has given a natural tendency to a particular person to get attracted towards the opposite gender otherwise how the population on this planet will sustain. So, due to malfunction or according to his/her karma he/she may have a same sex attraction. Therefore, prabhuji is explaining the general case...... More specifically he is focusing who is naturally feels uncomfortable with this body. But whatever you mentioned that because of porn people are becoming trans it is an extreme form of ignorance and lust.

@@_BolHariBol_ All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I'm glad to serve you. Yeah, Prabhu, this Western culture and nowadays East Asian dramas are degrading human society. Whether you are straight, homosexual, or transgender, all are just different bodily dresses, but in a real sense, the soul is genderless; it has nothing to do with this material bodily identity. Yeah, though the soul is genderless, by nature it is prakriti (the feminine energy of the Lord). So, even in the spiritual sky, we may be the male friends of Krishna, but by nature, we are prakrati, which means we are meant to be predominanted by the Lord. Our whole existence is for the pleasure of Krishna. But this Western culture and East Asian dramas are strongly influencing people in the wrong way. In Vedic society, the third gender (transgender and homosexual) was at most respected; rather, Manu mentions in Manusmriti that it is the duty of parents and king to maintain the people of the third gender. Even there is a description in Garga Samhita that in Sudarma Sabha (the Royal Hall of Lord Krishna in Dwarka), there were many third-gender dancers, and all were respected outmost by citizens, and for Lord, every living entity is a special one for him. There are no such criteria as straight, homosexual, or transgender for him; we are just his part and parcel, which he wants to see enjoy his association. Therefore, the conclusion is that in Vedic society, there was also a third gender (transgender and homosexual), but the goal was different. The whole varnsahrama system is made in such a way that everyone should get his deserving respect and everyone should proceed towards god realization because it is a birthright of every living entity to enjoy the association and bliss of serving Krishna. But nowadays, modern society focuses on sense gratification, and that's why people are developing such weird kinks. HARE KRISHNA!! ALL GOLRIES TO GURU AND GAURANGA!!
