If they are not utilized together then J.P.'s truth that is "more valuable" than kindness cannot exist as it has no purpose. Truth does not stand on its own but must be connected to real-life interaction and application and how we live or it is a useless truth. The statement, it is true that kindness is better, proves my point. If truth is more valuable then that statement is empty, not requiring application. If kindness is more valuable, then we cannot determine if being kind is better, truly. But together the statement and the action communicate a truth that requires action, and an action that defines what is true. And that is the simple truth, and I say that with the utmost kindness. :D

What Professor Peet says about "programming the preferred pronoun next to the person's name" makes no sense. My native language is Turkish and it has no gendered pronouns. We say "o" for she/he/it. Actually, we don't even say the pronoun most of the time, because it's already apparent in the verb conjugation. Gittim. ( I went) Gittin. (You went) Gitti. (He/she/it went) So when I was learning English, the gendered pronouns were the bane of my exiatence. I would use he/she interchangeably even at advanced level, especially if I was trying to make a point. Language is immediate and quick. Gender Studies exists because it wants to operate outside the standards of investigation and rationality that Sociology uses. Gender Studies doesn't have its own methodology yet so most conclusions it comes to are just validated based on its own flawed logic.

Its the same with religion. The fact someone believes in god shouldn't be a reason I cant swear with or use religious names. I can choose not to out of kindness. But their freedom to believe doesnt rule out my freedom of speech. Sadly not everyone seems to understand leading to people getting mad at me for saying "jesus christ" when in shock or "for god's sake" when mad. Or leading to the issue they're talking about in the debate
