"People say 'you're too pretty to be a lesbian'". Okay, that really bothered me, because it's not like all lesbians look ugly or something, nor is it like that for any of the lgbtq. I mean sure, you may not like how a person looks, but their looks don't define their sexuality wtf.

Luna Nacht I agree 100%!!! Not many people know this about me but I too am in to girls. People often say I'm too feminine to be lesbian where there are many others who support me. Sometimes it can make you question yourself a lot and it's sort of a horrible aspect

That's something I'm afraid of in terms of coming out. People tell me I'm pretty, I don't have a high view on myself so I don't share this but I'm scared people are going to think I look to feminine to be a lesbian. Stereotypes really set boundaries and scare people off. it's hard...

Yeah, people usually think that lesbians look like men and gays like women... But it's a bullshit. Your appearence has nothing to do with your sexually. It's impossible to say if someone is gay by their appearence. Hope people will understand that once.
