Calhaora Lightsbane They do kind of require the expansion because you can’t use most of the items without the expansion. Sure, you can install them and have them in your game, but you can’t actually do anything with them. That basically means it requires the expansion.

It was extremely scummy from them to show the CaD bed in the MFP trailer making people believe they also could get it with the new pack.

I fell for buying this from my local EB Games as I thought it was an expansion, being in a DVD case and all. Was seriously disappointed when I got home and found just a code on a card. Was even more disappointed when I found out it wasn't the 'premium' version. I never felt more cheated. I pirated all of the Sims Store stuff after that. Given how terrible quality it usually is it felt justified.

I realy like this town. It has a special glow/light, like monte vista. It is so beautiful, hte rabbitholes are the most beautiful then any other world. The bistro has windows you can look inside and theres furniture inside, and when it gets dark, light emits from the "lamps" you can see in the window. The shop has barrels of food you can see inside the buldings, although rabbitholes are never impressive, I'll take anything I can get, and details like this adds to the atmosphere. Even non rabbit holes are beautiful, like the library. This is my favourite town. The dragons are too small though that's one downside, and they sound like freaking birds, They can sleep and you can feed them but they don't HAVE to sleep/eat, so it's not like a pet which is dissapointing too.

I'd like a dragons game pack. Adult dragons occasionally swooping in to eat sims. Ability to steal eggs by hiking to nests. Barter or buy eggs, raise dragons with almost as many interactions as say child sims. When dragons become adults they can become protectors of the sim family and you can unlock mountain top lots in their grounds!

People complain about how monetized Sims 4 is, but like $55 for 1 TOWN in full, not considering the inflation change from 10 years ago, versus the $40 we have for an expansion, which is the most expensive thing in Sims 4. Like Sims 3 was hard on the money.

The theatre is the Shakespearian Theatre. It's in London, well the rebuilt version is, it originally burnt down. Pretty good replica I gotta say EA.

Thing is, it'll also mean less control over post-production and potentially other restrictions regarding what can be done with the footage once captured... yeah, it's cool if you just want to dick around but I doubt it'll make sense to anyone that does this for a living, as I do. Its not impossible to have the bows and carry them around town to shoot people. There are plenty of mods that add guns and such into the game that are fully usable. Either way it doesn't screw with the mechanics of the game enough to make it impossible to take out the bow, clicks on something and then fire.

I had an inkling that Dragon Valley would turn out just like this (and I never planned on buying it), and I was glad you confirmed my suspicions. While people were flailing and going "ARCHERY! BABY DRAGONS! OMG EEEEEEE!" I was going "So they recycled some Sims Medieval theming, have you pay $19 more for an extra dragon and a pointless lot, still have modern day technology in a 'medieval' town, and the baby dragons are nothing more than build/buy objects with no real pet aspects to them......NO."

An interesting CC version of the Duke of Bows lot - someone somewhere (maybe Mod the Sims? I don't recall where I DL'd it) made a Duke of Bows Festival Lot for Seasons. I installed it on a larger lot and added a whole stack of more of the larger seasonal installations, like the Spooky House, skate arenas, snowboarding half-pipe. Working thorugh furnishing a festival lot is a bit of work that involves getting the festival marker and switching seasons to place seasonally significant things. The dragons, I like the green ones, because I love gardening and it's harvesting ability is really handy, though still not quite as handy as a Robotany Gardener chipped Plumbot. I do however think they did put some dragon eggs in the graveyard. Or did I do that when I was placing Llama booths? I can't recall.

Yep. It won't require internet to run the launcher or play a stripped down base version. But to get full features and to use DLC it will. I'm not judging the game based on rumors, I'm judging it based on a knowledge of the company who makes it: EA. If you want to know more about EA, check out SimCity.

Because of the new law earlier this year when they release a Retail copy of the world they can't use their own form of virtual currency to make you buy it since other stores have it too, so that's why they have you buy it on the store with real money as a bundle. They had to start this with Monte Vista. Which is why they never did that with Hidden Springs or Barnacle Bay because that was before this new law. Hope that makes sense and why they did that.

ambitions, and late night are definitely worth buying, ambitions gives you real hands on jobs and a town, and late night gives you a city and clubs and vampires, those two are the best in my opinion. Generations is the best one for kid related things as you can a lot more things for them, more toys, you can punish them and send them to boarding school and stuff. Hope that helped :P

This world is definitely overpriced, and let me down on the "Dragon" aspect, but it looks nice in my opinion, and if I switch the existing households with ones of my own making (and usually the occult from Supernatural) it works pretty well. I typically build my own house in that lot right by the city hall, and with it being so big and right next to everything, it makes for a good legacy lot.

The movie theater is loosely based not on a pastry (good guess though), but on the Shakespeare's Globe (which in turn is a reconstruction of the old Globe Theatre). If you look them up in Wikipedia you'll see they look almost identical! I love your reviews by the way ;)
