It's sad to see the city and household simulation genres become more shallow, less immersive, and less challenging over the past two decades. The Simcity and Sims series continually improved with each new installment through the 90s, arguably peaking with Simcity 4 and Sims 2 over 20 years ago. Then the original creative talent moved on. Now Sims 5 is abandoned, CS2 is a slag heap, and I feel listless, adrift. The favorite games of my childhood haven't seen a good successor in over a decade.

The trick was to only load Me on your C: drive and put everything else on your D: drive, this way when Me eventually crapped out, you could reinstall it and not lose anything. Something else people would say is, never let it update; it would run fast and reliable... ish?? Many people stuck with Me for so long because of the claim that you would have trouble with activation when upgrading or swapping hardware if you ran XP. Funny, that most times that you wanted to use restore, the darn thing couldn't or wouldn't do it for some reason, and it would tell you to consult the system administrator- that unknown person, that should be you, but for some reason is not, so you're powerless.

This brought back memories. UT2004 remains one of the best FPS out there. It's a shame what happened to Epic. Fortnite fails to capture even 5% of what UT2004 was.

I was always a console guy. Didn't get a computer until I was in college, and then didn't get another one until a few years ago. I was actually inspired to do so buy this channel. I even bought some cheap parts for a desktop but haven't quite figured out why it won't work yet, lol. It's outdated, just like my laptop, but it's still fun and would get use. Stuff like this can inspire people and mean a lot to them even if it sounds stupid. Just keep that in mind when it doesn't feel as worth it. I'm glad to see you are okay from the storm and sorry for anything that was lost. Merry Christmas to you and everyone else! Stay safe!

I had this very setup as a kid! I remember the day my aunt bought me this at Best Buy spending all that money. It came with 3D movie maker, Magic School Bus and Tyrian and of course Hover! It also came with Print Master Gold, which at the time I thought was so amazing! So much time spent in front of this PC. I still have my restore CD and floppy laying around.

I used to love this game when i was a kid. Played it for hours.
