This was a delightful interview. Thank you, Ray and Sue; your 1-year-old boy is very handsome in his blue outfit. Thank you for the tour, and thank you Denise for another splendid HDT truck owner interview.👍🏾💙🤍❤️

GREAT VIDEO. I cam to the West Coast Rally, with my little truck (it hid behind my trailer since it was so shy) just to learn about the trucks and the different bed formats. ray actually gave me a printout from RVH to help me figure out the cost but RAY and all the others at the rally kept saying one thing. WHAT IS YOUR MISSION PROFILE. Even in this video at the end he made the point is it for you? I was able to figure out what cab was best for me by just sitting in the drivers seat. Some cabs I could not stand up in other's had cabinets that stuck out to far to allow me to stand up without difficulty or hitting them. I had an amazing experience. Please note that I was on my own for the trip. Don't go alone, bring your partner as we have discovered the passenger seat is just as important. Going to the seminars is also a blast for fun and knowledge. I have not purchased an HDT as some issues have made us change what we are now doing. Ontario Canada has very few camp grounds that accept HDT's and at our present length of 66' with a Ram 3500 Dually getting to sites here is a issue here. Hope to see you all again soon. John

@johnmcclean7390 we have kicked around the idea of a HDT for several years, but are afraid we would miss the size of our MDT. Thank you for commenting and for watching!

Very nice setup. I can see there was a lot of thought put into it beforehand. The gen y hitch is nice but a couple extra bolts and that morryde is good for 24 k. I’ve had that hitch on my last 4 rigs

Just as a guess I'd say there are probably between 1500 and 3000 recreational conversions of HDT's on the road. But that is just an educated guess. Not all of them are pulling RV's...some pull horse trailers, race trailers and boats.

Maybe one day we will be part of that number if we graduate from our MDT to a HDT ! Thanks for watching ☺️

Curious to know why the bed was build to load the car from the off road side. Ours is the other way. One reason is if you are broke down along a highway you could unload and go get help.
