Hi boreathea hgvs can't use the Birkenhead tunnel buses only. so hence why your sat nav took you wallasey tunnel. hope that helps

Great video. I noticed that traffic light stuck on amber, and the car passing pulling in far too soon into your braking zone in front of you in the tunnel, reckon trying to get romantic with your front bumper

You wouldn't be going through the Birkenhead tunnel it has a 3.5 tonne limit , I stopped a curtain sider making that mistake . You are right about the tunnel and hazardous goods , you get some drivers covering their orange placards and going through .

Tunnels? Give the old northbound blackwall tunnel a whirl, you'll love it! - has a 13 foot height limit though, has dongles dangling in front of it to test before you get stuck in it!
