Hi, a few questions: 1. What happened to the old receiver drier? 2. Can the old compressor be removed and new rx8 compressor and brackets be installed while the motor is in place? 3. Does the evaporator have to be drained/cleaned before installing and adding new r-134a? 4. If we decide to change our intercooler setup later on (from FMIC to Vmount) what parts are needed to convert this? Thanks!

1. What happened to the old receiver drier? The RX8 condenser conveniently has a dryer unit attached to it. . 2. Can the old compressor be removed and new rx8 compressor and brackets be installed while the motor is in place? Although its tight quarters, this can all be removed/installed with the motor in place. It helps a bit if the power steering pump is moved out of the way temporarily. . 3. Does the evaporator have to be drained/cleaned before installing and adding new r-134a? We recommend taking the evaporator out and replacing the expansion valve inside, as the newer expansion valves are calibrated for r134 now. Plus its likely been 25+ tears since its been out and cleaned. . 4. If we decide to change our intercooler setup later on (from FMIC to Vmount) what parts are needed to convert this? - two of the lines will need to be changed out to the vmount config, which we can help with!!

How different is the line routing on a RHD rx7 to a LHD car?
