I think that it is interesting to note, that despite her troubles with Mr. Applewood, Laura laughs freely and uproariously along with the rest of the class when he is mocked by Herman, and she laughs again later when his bag is ruined with ink. You'd think she would keep her mouth shut to avoid incurring his wrath further.

The farm kid who got called up to be punished by the mean teacher - he's way more intelligent then Mr Applecrab. That was so great! As a matter fact Mr AppleC isn't even intelligent as no intelligent person would abuse a child or a grown up.

@MsSarcia ok lets recap. this episode is in season 2 so we havent yet seen the bees incident as that happens in season 6, wheelchair incident in season 3, hot pepper on food in season 6 and the merchandise/ money in season 5. the only episode we have proof of is the sunday school incident. any other comments?

There is a reason why this MsSarcia is Ms and not a Mrs. While I don't disagree with her on alot of what she says she obviously is obsessed with it. You cannot even have a civil conversation with her without her finding some reason to get her panties in a bunch. Just ignore her and enjoy the show.

I detest Mr Crabapple - I'd like to teach him a lesson or two. I'm surprised little Laura could even write anything after he just about busted her hand - actually to hit a child's hand with that kind of force, I would think, could do some damage. As if that wasn't enough of a punishment, he then makes her write a whole lot of stuff on the bb. I'm surprised she didn't cry after he hit her that hard. I'll give him thrice the taste of his own medicine.

Nellie and Harriet were always such full of shit. Her two troublemakers are sitting right next to her. Her OWN children. In the third sentence you should have used "than," not "then." There should not be a comma after "Ingalls like you." There should be a comma after "Um," and the sentence it begins should end at "YOU," With the next sentence beginning with, "You do not know," and continuing as is. It is "grammar," not "grammars." I did not insult you personally, but you insult anyone who does have a negative opinion of the show. Your crude language shows weak rhetorical skills.
