In lieu of a car give-away you could consider a parts and labor give-away for someone that wants to upgrade their Honda but doesn't have the know-how, money or time. Like an engine swap & tuning, turbo / supercharger install & tuning, paint correction & interior work, etc.

John, back in the day we'd meet up at a service station I pumped gas and swept up at... This shop worked on muscle cars and oddballs (eg. a Triumph TR-6 with an LT-1 350). Later in life I graduated to a Porsche shop and then Uni. As an OAP I still build Miata motors☺

If you guys already know "The Slip Angle" channel... they have an "all motor" s2k build.. they have pretty much gone the all ballade route... I dont really ever hear you guys mention ballade - but i kinda feel like I prefer how you guys approach the S2K.... eager to see what you have in mind.

The don’t use anything Ballard. We are going to see what improvements we can make with some very minimal but efficient upgrades while maintaining a ‘nice car’ to drive.

(i forgot, they have both an ap1 and ap2) on the ap1 they use use ballade: cams, "race" header, and single exit "asm type s" re-creation exhaust... after removing a greddy header, some other aftermarket cams(-forgot the brand) and an invidia exhaust... The owner /host... Quinn clearly has the car for play use...in a garage flull of other built cars... ive been watching the progress of his s2k's and the car is a bit beyond being daily driveabke... so i am more aligned with your methodology for my honda.

For the NA kit build you are doing...Can there be some form of considsration for Cali. SMOG law? CARB compliance and 2 year testing is a thing🫤. Just a way to bolt the smog bits back in place "correctly".

can you recommend carbon fiber synchronizers for the transmission on an AP1 year 2000. Who would you have install new syncronizers? would you simply trade out a rebuilt AP-2 transmission and keep the AP1 trans?

@@John-b5e3e I don’t have a transmission guy I’ve had much luck with using aftermarket parts. I’d take an AP2 trans all day. I’d just use oem Honda Parts.

I don’t like them. Nothing fits like OEM. I can’t charge customer for something I wouldn’t want on my car. We’ve tried every top on the market and installed more tops than anyone.

I know you guys focus on S2000 n civics n integra. But do you repair 1995 Honda Accord ECU’s? I can’t find a stock one in working condition. I’m getting a code 9 for the CYP sensor on dizzy. I replaced the dizzy n I stil get that code.
