Lia, why do you think Americans wear engagement/wedding rings on the right hand? Americans wear them on the LEFT hand. And some people wear rings on the left hand that aren't engaged. And some people don't care if you are engaged or married, they are just flirting.

"And some people don't care if you are engaged or married, they are just flirting." Oh yes, very true. And some who don't care are doing more than "just flirting." I've been hit on by men looking for a bit of fun sex, for which marital status is irrelevant.

I’m from Asheville! I lived there for 20 years. If you both are in the mood for a good laugh, LaZoom tours is a bus tour around downtown Asheville that is similar to the trolley tour you took, but it has a comedic twist with hilarious skits. I highly recommend checking it out!

When I was a kid my town had paid parking downtown in front of the big retail places. People refused to pay to park and would park and walk over to the stores. We also had pay bathrooms and only a few would pay. If you had a kid with you they would crawl under and unlock it. Then when you were finished, you would put something like toilet paper into the lock so it would not lock so the next person could get in. Then finally they stopped doing both because the stores were losing out to places that didn't charge to park. And it is going against fundamental rights to charge someone to use the bathroom.

@@samwilliams6617 maybe because men are more respectful in this area. Just because someone is attractive doesn't mean they need to be harassed.
@samwilliams6617
@samwilliams6617 Жыл бұрын
@Nik It's not that simple. A man can respectfully hit on a woman and she can still feel like she is being harassed because multiple men have already hit on her. He has no way of knowing how many men hit on her before he did. Based on the legal definition of harassment. A woman is not being harassed if she is hit on by multiple men throughout the course of a day. It can be very annoying, but not legal harassment.

I've been hit on a few times when I was married. Guys who boldly hit on women tend to say they forget which hand wears the engagement/wedding ring. Liars. 😖 If they cared to learn the difference they would, since it's really not that hard. Or else they've demonstrated they're too stupid to be of any value. I told one guy I was married and his followup question was "Happily?" Clearly not a quality man. 😝
