At first she said no because she still needed it, but later she came back and gave it to me. That was really kind and thoughtful of her. Another thing that will stay with me forever is how she collects her leaves with a hoover or barbecue tongs.

It’s nothing more important than your health but it’s really hard to choose yourself above everything else. It’s important to give example of it, and Lia done just that. She listened to her body and mind. True role model. ❤

I can’t actually choose one favourite moment as Lia is not just an incredible player but also the kindest and sweetest human, which is in my opinion way more important. „They’re people before they’re players“ - no real fan cares about you when you’re a class player but a bad human - but Lia has got both, great football skills but she’s an even better person

They all want and need the famous Lia hug whether they have played in the game, or have been watching from the bench and sidelines. Always cares so much about her teammates and fans. Look at the way she looked after Leah after she did her acl. A selfless player, leader and person on and off the pitch. The most underrated holding midfielder there is.

Lia s an amazingly multi talented person, just listen to her talk, it all makes sense, presumably English isn t even her mother tongue, as a personality she s a terrific role model and advocate for the womens' game, as a Swiss sportsplayer she s going to be just as much of an icon as Federer and of course as a footballer, her reading of the game, passing, swerving, tackling and holding the ball are second to none ... i don t believe she needs worry at all about her future, whatever she does will remain amazing !

My friend and I had a signing card from arsenal and she asked how much we paid and where we got them from. She didn’t know that the cards were sold in the armory and was astonished that they charge you for a card. it’s hard to pick just one fav moment but i think it’s got to be her incredible assist against chelsea at the emirates last season, to help us go 3-1 up before half time. it was an incredible game which saw us draw level with the league leaders on points, and to have my absolute top favourite player involved with the goals when her role is usually more defensive & less about scoring/assisting was very special.

One of my favourite moments/things of Lia is how she always cares about everyone. If you're her friend or her opponent, she is just so kind to help others. A perfect example is the time when ABJ was playing for Everton and put in a pretty nasty foul on Lia, which resulted in a lot of unwarranted online hate to her. But Lia used her platform speaking out and asking everyone to stop. Always looking out for others ❤
