Nadia, love the muted colors though I am a definite maximalist who loves glitter! Didn't see any comments on pronunciation of Vermeil, so I will, if that interests you 💗😺. Since I am American and live in France, I'll do our North American accent. None of the French gurgly R sounds etc. 🤣. "Vur-may" is the simplest breakdown. When my kids were babies (25 & 28 years, now) 🎨🖌🖍📚 I had learned to put the clay with the metal-leafed side down, on some egg crate foam, so that the air clay, dries more evenly and in a faster time, so it seems...hope that will work. I wish that your camera had ZOOM LENS! 😢

I am just wondering what type of varnish I can use, as we don't have the varnish that you use here in South Africa. I can buy on Amazon, but the shipping cost makes it a bit pricey.

I love the 3 D effect of it! You are so creative! There are so many different things that you could make out of polymer clay, gingerbread houses for Christmas, 🎃 for Halloween 👻. You could also use purple/red/green flat glass marbles to create a grape cluster🍇, add polymer clay leaves to it for wine coasters. My daughter in-law and I just made 8in. large coasters with high heat resin today; to set hot dishes on. There are so many designs you could do with a larger hot plate coasters like we made today. I love art for art itself but, if it’s practical too.. that’s just a bonus! Thanks for the inspiration! They turned out beautiful!

Those are stunning Nadia! I have to say, I am a HUGE glitter junkie and I love it in just about everything but sometimes you just don't need it in certain projects. The mica you used as a base has a certain amount of sparkle that accents the leaves but the leaves are definitely the star of the show and they look simply elegant. May have to give this a try sometime. I have air dry clay and fondant cutters or cookie cutters in different shapes. I have only been doing resin for about a year now but I also make bath, skin and hair care products and Cold Process soap and have been doing that for about 12 years or a little longer. I was instantly hooked on resin though, as soon as I started doing it. Love all the great ideas I get from your videos.
