I saw a concert fireside with Marvin Goldstein many years ago. I've always appreciated his music.

Marvin Goldstein lived in the mission I served in, Florida Tallahassee. Awesome guy. He dedicated his cd A Missionary Companion to the Florida Tallahassee Mission while we were out there. He had all the missionaries pick their favorite missionary hymns and he made a compilation of them.

Thank you for bringing heaven into my home. While the violin has been my favorite instrument I have never heard anything like this. There is a spirit in Mr. Goldstein's playing that is indescribable, for me he plays these songs better than I have even ever heard them sung.

Very good point, however we also read that in the Hebrew bible the very first verse should read something more to the effect of The head one of the Gods brought forth the Gods ( Pulled from the King Follet sermon, a talk by Joseph Smith explaining your exact question.). Also consider, which came first the chicken or egg? God is eternal, all God's are, we all progress towards being a God. This is the goal of this life. We can all obtain that happiness

Abrook... I have wondered the very same thing. Who was the first God? I do not know, But this is what we call the Plan of Salvation. As one other person said. Perhaps it took eons for some one to get to that point. Christ Himself was Man, Died then Resurrected, Obtained glory, and now is as God is. We being God's children have the same chance to gain all that God has, to be as he is.

I have a sincere question for any Mormon. This is not an attack. Did your God create the universe? If so, how could he have been a man first? To me it seems like you have a logical issue here. A famous LDS doctrinal saying is, "As man is God once was, as god is man will become." Can someone please explain what your true beliefs are? If your god was once a man, who was the first god who did indeed create the man who became god? An honest question. Please give me an answer.

Well that is what you are taught. I believe that the bible teaches there is only one true God, and there are none before him nor after and he knows no other God. Isaiah 44 ,43 It seems to me that all mormons want to stay mormons because of a shared experience: the burning when asking if the BOM is true, and not if the religions claims are really true or not. FOr example, IF TRUE, the BOM 's cities, coins, characters and historial artifacts would have been found.

His music has been called…rhythmically unpredictable. -Rolling Stone Uninspired yet moving…the bowels. -Goldmine Trashy in a nasty sort of way. Goofus and Galant rolled into one. -Highlights And at last here is your chance to hear for yourself what all the fuss is about… Introducing Justin “Wise Up” Snyder’s New album- “We’re Mormons, we are better than you.” This recording is a fusion of country ballads, the blues and small animals in distress. Hear his version of these timeless Latter Day Saint inspired songs… “Somebody is in the barn with Fanny!” “Where the hell is Zarahemla Blues” “Heavenly Mother, I want a little brother” “He had magic in his pocket (too bad they shot him dead)” “Hey Bob I can almost see Kolob from Here” “Zelph, the Magic Warrior” “John D. Lee took a bullet for me” “We made the hills run red at Mountain Meadow” “I wish I had a peep stone to call my own” “Missing Pages, a Mystery for the Ages” The works of this “up and coming” artist “Justin “Wise Up” Snyder are sure to affect your very gut and parts of you lower GI track!! So look for his newest release on the “Burn down the Newspaper” label. Available at Target, Osco Drugs, Amazon.com, iTunes and anywhere LDS propaganda is sold. So wise up and get Justin “Wise Up’ Snyder’s sin-sational new release. Note: Justin “Wise Up’ Snyder is not the highly educated Justin Snyder who graduated BYU but the scruffy haired geezer that looks like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.
