I purchased the dream romance curl hair back in May in the colors 1b/30 and 1b/33 and the amount of compliments I've received is insane! The hair did come to the middle of my back (i'm 5'5") so I had to do some cutting but I love how low maintenance this hair is. It looks so natural that I don't want to take it out

I’ve tried Marley Jeri Curl hair from Amazon. And it last at least 2 to 3 months. You will have to keep the maintenance up in order to last and look realistic.

A video like this is greatly appreciated. I have a client who will leave her crochet in for months! For example, I installed toyotress twists 2/23, she just came back to get her hair done on 6/12 & STILL had them twists in. But her hair has went from 2 inches long to mid back length, so I don't give her much fuss.

Lia, thanks so much for your review of the different types of hair. I've found that any of the curly hair, I can never keep in longer than 4 weeks. I don't like the frizz and the matting up. Although, people are constantly telling how good it looks, but when I look in the mirror I see nothing that says pretty. Thanks for sharing with us.

Me too. Usually 3-4 weeks is my limit. I work with the matted hair by using Herbal Essence mousse which helps but to me it doesnt look good but I get compliments on it all the time so I guess it looks good on me. I guess the matting is underneath and people dont really see that.

Lulutress island twist is bomb if you know how to maintain it. Trim the frizz and it's perfect! I swam and snorkeled and kept it in for weeks afterwards.

Freetress’s Island Twist is a true ‘twist out’ look to me. It’s wild how these different brands interpret words. I find Lulutress’s version was too curly less ‘twisty’

I like those colors on you. I have the bohemian hair. The Soft Dread hair is my favorite. It was easiest to install and I got the most compliments wirh that hair. That Romance hair is looking like kinky curly bundles.

Thanks for your videos which are very well done. I need too have my croquet in for three months. no longer, no earlier. So far, I have had not issues , I only wash it three times. I don't put too much oil on my scalp so my scalp doesn't smell. However, most times it's in a crunchy, and occasionally wear it following. I also, twice a week rake my fingers through it ☺️

Thanks for this video! I’m gonna make a crochet wig, tired of all the work it takes to install & uninstall. I cut my own hair once and it still hunts me to this day 😭 From my experience the model model brand is lower quality, the hair is usually coarser, rougher, duller & tangles more. Wouldn’t recommend at all. I avoid it at all costs 😂

Hi Lia! Have you or will you try the Ez Crochet hair by Spectra? I’ve been spoiled by the quality of your reviews so reviews from other KZbinr just aren’t cutting it for me lol. I was going to buy some of the Freetress hair for my first install but I discovered that it has a chemical warning. The Ez Crotchet hair fibers are supposed to be safer but the hair looks like it is not the best quality. Also I love the blonde ombré on you! I have such a hard time finding a shade of blond that works with my skin tone and I just might have to give this color combination a try before giving up completely on blond.
