@@raycroal bro, please read my comment again. I am not comparing. I said I see a lot of John Lennon's inspiration in his music. A lot of Liam's solo songs have similar chord progression to John's. For example, his song Once has a very similar chord progression to John's unparalleled classic Across the Universe. I hear that inspiration. John was the best Beatle in terms of his song writing ability and in my view will always be the best songwriter in rock and roll history. All I am saying here is that I can see that Liam's song writing choices draw from his own inspiration, the legend John Lennon himself. Thanks for reading, my friend :)

It feels like Noel and thr band were a huge part of his identity, almost like a twin bond on Liam' s part. That confidence and swagger he had in his 20s is gone, but it wasn't replaced with a mature sense of self.
