Nice little detail for geeky Liam fans such as me. At 1:08 right after signing the first line he asks for the mic volume to be increased, rightly so. When they finally put it up, and after complaining a bit, liam approves at 1:48. And he was fucking right. That is a great ear if you ask me!

True of every gig I've seen him do, from the Astoria in '94 to a little show in 2008 promoting Dig Out Your Soul that was so bad Noel got shitfaced and ended up hammered on the Chris Moyles show the following morning. Front of house is never loud enough for Liam. I think Oasis spent years with their monitors at 100%, and earliier, with no monitors at all. Liam clearly likes to feel the bass through his chest. And why not, tinnitus notwithstanding :)

Only 300?? Lmfao! I'm probably somewhere near a grand. I normally don't really ever comment on KZbin, or any socal media for that matter. But this is somehow different. I think it matters. This may be the best rock n roll song of all time imho, and this may be the best live performance of said song. Bottom line, Liam you're a beast! Best frontman of all time. So clearly I'm "Team Liam" for life!!! I like Noel too, but Liam's voice was the soundtrack of my youth. Noel, you suck big butts! Give up on the weird cosmic pop thing that NO ONE IS LISTENING TO. IT REALLY DOES SUCK. I've tried to listen to it, and I've really wanted to like it because hey, you're Noel Gallagher. And I love the songs you've written in the past. But in the end, this new stuff... well it's just awful mate. I mean really bad. Its time to face facts. Liam doesn't need you, as evidenced by his meteoric rise as a solo act. And this is the God's honest truth, My 4 year old daughter loves ANY Oasis(or Liam) song I play for her. But She asks me if I can please put on the Transformers cartoons when I play her any of Noel's High Flying Birds. That's not meant as a dig either. Just the truth. I've bought a lot of Noel's stuff, and tried hard to get into it. I just couldn't. Then, When I play Liam doing that MTV Unplugged show at Hull, she starts dancing and singing along like she's in the rhythm section. Lol. She knows all the words to Wall of Glass and Cast No Shadow. AND SHE'S 4 YEARS OLD!!! And she loves it. She loves Liam singing. The music you guys made as Oasis is clearly timeless. Some of the best ever. I put it in the same class as the Beatles, Stones, and Zeppelin. But it's time to face reality Noel, Liam's voice first, and your writing second is what made it work. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Noel, come to your senses, and for God's sake get the band back together you "Wankah" . You need a real singer anyway. " Why not Liam, Why not now? " sounds like a great name for a first Oasis reunion album. Lol.

The original version was cool back then, but from today's perspective I actually like this one over the old one. The sound here is much more clear up to the modern standards, and you can clearly hear every instrument. But the director could do better and bother to at least show the guitar player during his solo for more than just 1 last second, lol. I am not an (Oasis) expert, but I LOVE their music. And what I miss compared to Oasis live is the loudness... Oasis was fantastic, also because they played loud... but fantasticly loud. When the concert started Liam and the others would crank their guitar up and a wave of perfect, relaxed loudness would flow over the crowd, and the crowd would explode right away... And with that the voice and signing and person of Liam matched perfectly. Liam's songs now are not bad (also not as well wriiten as the Oasis songs in my opinion), but he needs an extra guitar in the lign up, and make it louder. I am just an old Dutch idiot who grew up with The Cult, so difficult to explain in English precisely what I mean, sorry... :-)
