Liam was the last concert I went to before the world went nuts. Couldn’t have picked a better one. Early 2020, packed concert hall in Amsterdam, 85% British audience, drinking, smoking, singing along with the music as one big family, and the band sounded on-point all the way. It was a beautiful thing. One of the best concerts I’ve ever experienced.

What … no it’s just that kids these days appreciate good music from the past. I’ve seen plenty of teenagers super into Nirvana, Beatles, Les Zeppelin, etc. And if you’re not finding good music from today it’s because the music industry is way different, a lot of the good stuff is independent and underground, or simply not getting the type of advertising and hype that bands like Oasis got during the peak of the record industry.

@@Osodjrhrb Oasis were independent too (Creation records) as were many others then and they became big - if anything for most bands word of mouth brought them to the attention of the masses. We consume music differently now of course- but people still must be going to small gigs, so where are the new bands?- if anything it is easier for their music to be heard or is that the problem?; they don’t get enough money to keep going as they don’t have enough record sales?….

We saw Liam and Noel in the same week in Brussels... Liam build a massive party in Ancienne Belgique... Noel's show was a bore apart from a couple of songs. Liam just has more energy and is way more charismatic to look at. Noel is a great writer, but lacks stage presence.

@@shortw00d81 it’s not just that. Noels music is totally different to the style oasis played but liams is in the same genre. No techno like drum machine beats noels had on a good few of his songs. If he started making rock and roll again he would probably be more successful although I don’t think he really cares about that much. I think he’s just playing stuff he is enjoying doing an to hell with anyone that doesn’t like it.
