God, I'd love to get one of these. Owned a 240Z 40+ years ago and that car was always fun to drive. Adding that fizzy revving engine and modern suspension dynamics to the package would be sensational.

In the 1980s in NZ when I was temporarily without a tow car I borrowed a couple. A friend lent me a 240Z on one occasion which was fun but we needed another car for all the tools and stuff that go with a racing car. On another occasion a tyre retailer lent me his Morris Marina ute, that sagged big time under the load. The Z never blinked an eye.

Interesting that Liam thinks an LSD helps turn in because in my experience they ALWAYS cause push on understeer on corner entry whether fwd or rwd. Different story on corner exit with rwd!

depends on decel ramp angle, but your right, open diff should give you the spiciest turn in.

These cars are way better than you would expect. Only quite delicate. I had a later model one which was dead in the steering super insulated so you didn't hear the exhaust or the road noise. Not so much charm and not as llight as the 240.

Not if you know how to do your own work. I have a restomod 240Z, triple webers, L28, Willwood big brake kit, etc. Did all my own work in my own garage. I'm not rich either.

This one is pretty cheap for a restomod. To get a similar Porsche 911 you'll need to spend 3x money. Essentially, you are paying for a lot of man hours needed to make one those.
