_Schizophrenia does _*_~NOT~_*_ involve split personalities._ Dissociative Identity Disorder/Multiple Personality Disorder involves multiple "alters", or different personalities. MPD/DID is a _TRAUMA-reaction,_ to _torture level-trauma,_ generally involving severe r*pe/ SA, most often including incest, & usually begining under the age of 3. It has NOTHING to do with Schizophrenia, which is an organic & serious mental illness, which can be TRIGGERED by trauma (head injury, etc), but has nothing to do with trauma, inherently.. DID/MPD has nothing to do with Schizophrenia. They are absolutely unrelated conditions. One is a severe mental illness. One is a response to SEVERE trauma. Please do not conflate them.
