FISH STOCKING | Behind The Scenes.

In this video it's our annual brood stock collection weekend at LAFMA with the goal of capturing some Mary river cod to take part in next years breeding. We've got tanks set up with holding pens and the tanker from the hatchery ready to take any fish big enough back to the holding ponds. Unfortunately we've had a lot of rain over the catchment and the stretches of river we want to remove some fish from are in flood and flowing quite fast and dirty, making for some difficult fishing once again.

Great video. Nice to see dickers and Matt. I guess since this video the big floods have hit. Mate it's going to take a while now for the fishing to come back. I packed up my Bass gear weeks ago there has been too much rain down here on the South Coast of NSW.
