Miss Diana Flores, I am diagnosed with dysthymia (mild chronic depression). A long time ago I found my balance by accepting that being happy does not last and therefore neither does being sad. Through this I have been able to live functionally knowing that happy moments are precious and should be appreciated to the fullest, and sad moments are bittersweet, since I can only feel bad because before I felt good. Just... How? how someone i never talked nor meet in my entire life can write something like "Rises the moon"? How can someone capture my entire life expoirience in such a simple metafore? It even has this Brasilian Bossa nova style (im half brasilian). I see that you have plenty of followers in your channell and plenty of coments about your songs so this feel kind of irrelvant, but if you ever find yourself wondering if your music reaches people, I want you to know that you have reached me as no other music has ever had. It makes me feel like im not alone in this mess and im not just living a sorry excuse of a life. I wish you fortune in everithing you ever atempt.

I recently lost my dog and before his passing, I'd just spend around 30 min or so trying to sing these to him when I had really bad bouts of sad thoughts--listening to these calm me a bit but now make me cry. That's not bad, because I suck at letting go and feeling. This album really helps me with that. The lyrics and guitar are so soothing and gentle. 4 YEARS AGO????? I'll comment anyway, to say that: - Rises the Moon is perfect for falling asleep, and it has such a flowy yet still, numb feeling, like being held tightly by something but like, not. idk how to explain it, but it's good as heck - Recently has such a cheerful, happy vibe, but then a dark underside, feels prickly and smooth at the same time. it's a mixture of pure GOODNESS - I get a strange, simple aura from Papercut, it feels like you're part of the song as it keeps playing, if that makes any sense at all, like you're in the song. Extra warm, fluffy vibes, in a good way ofc - Something is unsettling about Mother's Tongue, the fact that the guitar is playing stands out amongst the song, and it feels … airy? and very springy/jumpy/skippy. It feels spiky and snappy while mixing a smooth, basic, fluttery emotion. Weird, funky vibes, unique - Try again tomorrow is the definition of summery flutes. It feels like an out-of-place warm spring-themed song you sing to yourself on a picnic with nobody invited, LOVELY, slight wedding feels And that's my opinions, some of these are kinda loosely explained compared to how I actually think of them, but I'm pretty sure my emotions are unexplainable using words from the English dictionary. Moral of the story: Mother's Tongue is very confusing to try and explain, I spent ages on that one description- GOOD 👏JOB 👏.

This just really helped me. I started my homework early today and had done plenty of preparation but couldn’t muster up any focus to prove that so I ended up running out of time and getting a not-so-great grade. Frankly, this whole week has been really weak for me and for seemingly no reason other then the fact that I just couldn’t muster the energy to do work or even be excited about anything. Because of that, I’ve brought down a lot of my grades over these past 7 days and was really hoping that this homework was going to be a saving grace. That first song with you saying “breath” actually had me catching myself getting too upset after that fail so thank you so much. I know that I’ll frequently listen to you from here on out (I just found this channel today from a KZbin stream) and will also be sharing you with others. Maybe its my imagination running wild, but a second interpretation of "Rises the moon" is a vampire writing epic poetry during the day to get over his depression about being stuck in his stuffy castle, but taking solace that his melancholy will end when night finally comes around, and he gets to go out again. Or a very ominous song sung like a siren to their victim to keep them calm. That's the vibe I get anyways, and I love it.

my favorite album ever. since it released it's just been such a stress release. it's soft and sweet, and nostalgic. words can't even describe how soothing it is, it just IS. thank you, liana

it feels like I'm sleeping, but slowly drifting from slumber, trying to go back. Whenever that actually happens, I remember this EP.
