Lyrics: Days seem sometimes as if they'll never end Sun digs its heels to taunt you But after sunlit days, one thing stays the same Rises the moon Days fade into a watercolour blur Memories swim and haunt you But look into the lake, shimmering like smoke Rises the moon Oh-oh, close your weary eyes I promise you that soon the autumn comes To darken fading summer skies Breathe, breathe, breathe Days pull you down just like a sinking ship Floating is getting harder But tread the water, child, and know that meanwhile Rises the moon Days pull you up just like a daffodil Uprooted from its garden They'll tell you what you owe, but know even so Rises the moon You'll be visited by sleep I promise you that soon the autumn comes To steal away each dream you keep Breathe, breathe, breathe

the song feels enchanted for some reason, the bittersweet melody, the film, it feels nostalgic. it frees me from some kind of emptiness for some reason.. it's like a forest with moonlight shimmering on a pond, making a ethereal feeling, like there is no tomorrow. it feels, beautiful.

The lamb reminds me of a poem Tomorrow when the farm boys find this freak of nature, they will wrap his body in newspaper and carry him to the museum. But tonight he is alive and in the north field with his mother. It is a perfect summer evening: the moon rising over the orchard, the wind in the grass. My twin sister and i have been through so much together, we didnt get along and we both did such bullshit to eachother and its a miracle that we lived through it and still ended up by eachothers side, I have no how idea how this song became such a comforting thing for us, but she bought me a moon ring, with the engraved "rises the moon." On the back, and she plays the song in her bedroom and it drifts into my room when she knows i'm barely coping but i'm unable to tell her whats wrong, for us it means that no matter where we are, no matter who we become, the moon will rise and whatever happened to us will become a memory of tomorrow, and there in aftermath we'll be there for eachother. This song is such a big part of my life and i thank you for making it.

Honestly this song is my #1 comfort song. When I lost one of my cats, I felt sad yet empty, but when I listened to this I actually felt allowed to cry, which definitely helped. Now my other cat it showing signs of getting older, too. She's 20, and has started walking in circles and meowing constantly. We don't have any vets to take her to, so I've just been led to believe she might not make it. Again though, this song is helping me so much. Seriously, thank you so so much, Liana. I understand the song as a person whose days are the same, hold on while autumn comes to take away your dreams, tormented by the sun and the moon, reflecting hope, that is the last thing you lose.

After a few years and I still enjoy the song as I did the first time I heard it. But this time I have someone in mind whilst listening to it. It’s telling me to let go of that person because the moon still rises even if we don’t end up together:)

i’m singing this song to my cats and they purr to sleep with it. i’m def gonna be singing this song to my kids in the future. my mom sung me a song to sleep, she died when i was 5 so i never got to remember her singing clearly. i cry everytime i hear that song. i hope my children feel the same comfort that song gives me with this one.

I love how liana Flores in this video was caring for the toy llama like a child, that's so sweet, liana Flores cares about it even if it's just a toy, This song is a very good example to show peacefulness and care.

I remember the time of my life where I have this song on repeat. I was sitting on green tiles in my room on the 8th floor of an apartment doing thing I enjoy the most for someone I cherish. I remember how doing those while listening to this is like the perfect therapy for me.

I have a severe panic disorder and I remember one day I had the worst panic attack I had ever had and I thought I was going to die, and the worst part is that I was in a very public place and so I went into the bath room and cried, put my AirPods and blasted this song and so now every time I hear it I get teary eyed and every once and a while I come back to this song and to be honest, I think without this song, I might have actually died

In every moment where I'm at my lowest, and as always, I have no one by my side, I always put this song and hug myself, trying to sing it for myself, because I know that no one would. It sorta works

I'm gonna be real honest, I listened to this song a lot as a lullaby a few years ago because i wasn't able to fall asleep, and honestly i slept like a baby. This song is so nicely calming, it has the same vibes as some czech lullabies that mom sang to me as a kid. I really like it, the artist did an awesome job making it, and the music video ties into it very well! :D
