Want to know something interesting? I’m a country gal and a long time ago I got introduced to it by my grandfather who had a lifelong friend who was harvesting a corn field that was right next to my grandmother’s house. I got mesmerized by the experience of riding in that old axial flow case international Combine harvesting the corn getting to see it happening from the cabin view! After a decade and a half with much perseverance I rode in that same kind of combine last year and I get to do it this year again! I love those rare farming experiences!💞🌹🤩😇

I’m amazed at the ground speeds these modern machines can run with so much dry matter to separate and push out while saving the grain

and they are only getting faster and more efficient with each model. i guess also the price lol. there are people harvesting around 6-7 i once saw a video of a newer john deere doing almost 9 mph. but the avg is 4.5-5.5 mph

I always liked the poster I saw at my local Case-IH dealer. It showed a bunch of fat turkeys dining in corn stubble a John Deere combine gone through and spit out a bunch of corn on the ground. The other picture showed starving turkeys with magnifying glasses trying to find corn after an Axial-Flow had gone through.
