The red carpeted room wasn't the master bedroom. His bedroom was the room with the painted ceiling and the marble tub.

Kind of sad to see that house empty like that. I wasn't a Liberace fan, as I was too young to really appreciate him, but I have seen videos of the house when he lived in it, and it seemed so lively.

Lol, the guy says the Morracan Room is good for birds, smh. That was the room where Liberace invited his guests and celebrity friends into that room.

the room with the red carpet I don't think was the master bedroom because I just watched his 1981 concert intro which shows the bedroom he wakes up in lol and its very detailed and colored differently. like the Sistine chapel ceiling goes all the way to the bedroom. besides why would anybody paint over the ceiling and walls. seems like more trouble than its worth lol. good vid all around

This now my 5th time watching this video. Just finished watching Behind The Candelabra ..I am beyond fascinated with this place now. What was, is now what is..hard to believe.. I agree with what another commenter posted, this should have been Liberace's GRACELAND. Thanks for your video. Kirk..Montreal, Canada

I really enjoyed this. I could not hear anything that would insult Mr. Liberace. This house is over 40 years old. Give me a break. Thanks for uploading.

To clarify the rooms; Liberace's bedroom was the one with the Sistene Chapel ceiling. The room with the mirror on the ceiling was a guest room. While upstairs, the first room was known as the Morroccon Room and finally the Solarium.....I studied Liberace's life & career for many years and also viisted this home many times during parties, etc., in the past.

Someone just did a Great job renovating the Liberace Mansion and the city of Las Vegas allowed two houses to be bulldozed across the street and a Homeless Facility moved in.This has really been great for the neighborhood.

Everyone in the show business world came to this room, from Dean Martin to Debbie Reynolds even Elvis Presley was there amazing .I cannot no one knows the value of that tile.sad all his belongings are all gone.the beginning of this video makes it even sader when you see what the house looked like back then.

I wish I could buy this property. I would restore it to its original Liberace. I love this house and have not made fun of it at all. No offense- but who are the clods talking on this, and why were they given permission to traipse through his former house? Using words like weird, odd, unusual, seems very disrepectful to me. It is sad to see what became of his beautiful home. Total mismanagement from whoever had control of his estate after his death. Liberace was a complete and utter showman, gentleman, and supreme talent.

The guys who filmed this are way off. The room with the Sistine Chapel ceiling was the master bedroom. The room they elude to as an entry way was originally one of Liberace's walk in closets.. later owners added the windows. The room they claim in the clip as the master bedroom was a guest room. If these guys are going to do a video walk through of what was once Liberace's home they'd at least get some background info before "assuming" they are being informative.

the amount owed on the property is 3 million 700 hundred thousand dollar range, not 450 thousand, the room with the red carpet was a guest bedroom. the room upstairs was the moroccan room.teh room stated as an entry was actually the closet for liberace, door and windows where added by previous owner.

I am with you ,I love it too. It was pure glitz and glamour. However most of the movie was filmed in his Palm Springs home. I think the link on youtube is "Liberace House" if you want to see more of his Vegas home. There is also a nice interview on " Liberace Tour of Vegas Home" with Robin Leach. There is also a link from an old Good Morning America where he takes Ron Reagan (yes, the presidents' son) on a tour of the house. Enjoy, if you are interested.

People can be strangely touch around here. The house does indeed have an odd layout. I believe that will also make it hard to sell, as the unorthodox layout combined with the 70s carpets, murals, ect. will not help.

I read more than once it is worth $350,000, That's a lot of copper. I have to agree wth you I am suprised it is still on the wall too, the way people are stealing copper these days. I, for one, love that tile and would not touch that room if I were the new owner. All I would do is have all those windows professionally cleaned. The people who were suppose to take care of this were his Foundation members which included Brian Alverage and the former Robert Goulets wife Vera, but as you can see they apparently cared very little about Liberace and more about there salaries. Its a total disgrace .Were trying to get letters to The senator in las vegas to do a mandate to have all the board members salaries released and have the Foundations records all released, this would show where all the money went.this is a true disgrace.

So you trespassed is what your telling us. Maybe you could learn some other adjectives as well, instead of strange/unusual and weird. Different would have been great. Video better viewed with the mute engaged. All of that stuff you label as weird, by the way, is common now, or was common and already went out of style. Eccentric, his entire show was different and that is what made him big.
