@DGonz-dr1fl2 жыл бұрын
@@davidmckinney6577, yes. There was an auction in upper NY a few Decembers ago. I attended and won this bow tie and a mink jacket that I wear when it's cold enough.

Did you have the bow tie mounted in a display case or on a shelf or in a drawer? I'm just curious how such an item would be kept. For me it would be a bit sad to see it, but also a reminder of his great talent and the joy he brought to others.

When the people in the audiences wanted to see his jewelry, he always said, Yes, go ahead & look because you paid for it. Both Liberace & the audience would laugh.

I so love when Liberace plays ‘Sophisticated Lady’ and this was a playful arrangement. So cute he talks about that disc thing when now we can carry his repertoire in our pockets in digital form and take him everywhere with us. I wonder what he would think?

He couldn't hide how sick he was by this point, RIP Liberace.

A Beautiful Medley and a great example of Liberace's Piano Artistry! I've been working on transcribing this entire piano solo, and I just published today the first part -- "Sophisticated Lady" on my KZbin channel. Thanks for sharing this!

Do folks know how he became inimitable? Adam and Eve's offspring migrated from the Euphrate valley and we're trapped by the Alps. No northern cavemen maurauders either. Read about it in The URANTIA Book.
