Thank God , I live in Texas. I can own all those scary guns , with no permits at all just a fed. check . I can open and conceal carry , have them in my vehicle with zero permission from anyone . My county is a 2nd admendment county . With any changes to gun laws , my Sheriff which is a elected official , will ignore any federal laws that go against the constitution .

(3) Erosion of Trust with Gun Owners Legal firearm owners are among the most strictly regulated and law-abiding citizens. Targeting them with overreaching policies risks eroding their trust in the government and could alienate a group that has historically complied with stringent regulations.
