I think the reason you couldn't reorganise Brazil and Mexico is because they technically still exist as a government-in-exile for the UK, meaning that the prerequisite "Does Not Exist" cannot be fulfilled until you completely annex them in a peace deal with the Allies

You can always tell what total conversion mod path the devs played before designing a meme path in an expansion. This is very similar to "Red Alaska" in Kaiserredux.

Or: When one is already taking all the starting focus. You can make a new division consisting of only one artillery/AA and cheese the civil war without needing to circle the units at all. Because unlike Germany (when the "H-Man found dead"event triggers) and left path Communist-Brazil (when the Guerilla Leader got shot) Chile has no checkmark where it changes its old division templates during civil war.

for me that conflict with argentina took until 1940. I was split in two and lost my capital. (but held on to santiago) I had to painfully push up from patigonia and fight for every inch until buenos aires. i made a bit of a huge encirclement after that and managed to snake up to tucuman. they then capped and it was a super rewarding victory. a lot of fun but challenging

For me, the "liberate the US" decision wasnt available to click, maybe because some lakes between them and canada were controled by germany, then, I built compliance, established a collab government, then the option turned available to click, they became my puppet, then I did the focus and cored all of America, some Islands and greenland.

@@Aldrahill I'd recommend to just not do a naval nation, at least for me that makes things 10x harder in vanilla, yet alone black ice, but you still want a major country, so either Germany or USSR. A wild card would be playing France and trying your best to NOT DIE TO AI, since AI actually know how to play black ice lol

Shore bombardment gives them debuffs. You can see it by hovering the mouse over their soft attack , hard attack, breakthrough or defense in the battle By the way putting artillery or support artillery in the cavalry divisions slows them down

Here I am, an Argentinian, only just now finding out that it wasn't our heroes of independence who freed us from the Europeans but the USA, apparently. I like you Aldra, but stating that it was the US who liberated and protected Latin America from European rule was a really ignorant and offensive thing to suggest.

I mean, the monroe doctrine was explicitly that, and was the reason that SA didn’t really maintain large standing armies other than national forces for civil defence,but only in the 20th century - actual SA independence and autonomy was all home grown, baby! The USA had very little to do with the independence movements themselves. In fact, if any two countries are most responsible for SA independence, its France for the Napoleonic wars obliterating Spain, and United kingdom for funding them, especially the Chilean independence!
