I love his dry sense of humor. What a great memory and his sharing is so memorable.

Same, I absolutely love this guy!!! He's so awesome, wish I could have known him. This is the type of human you'd be blessed to have as a father.

Amazing. Listened to so many testimonies. This is an absolutely fantastic one and really shows how important this is to teach our children. "If you turn your back on history, it will repeat itself"

My Dad almost paralleled Mr. Mann`s life . He to grew up in Toronto at the same time as Mr. Mann . To help out with the family finances during the `dirty thirties` he delivered groceries at 2 cents a bag all over Toronto. He joined the Canadian army in 1940 and was posted to Halifax where he ran a dental lab making dentures and prosthetic eyes for all the services all ranks. During the 50s I remember Mr. Mann appearing in various CBC shows along with Wayne and Shuster.

Very moving and articulate presentation. I was privileged to be able to visit both Yad Vashem in Jerusalem as well as the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC. The latter should be a required field trip for every high school student in America. No one should ever forget. I was pleased to see that my Catholic parish has invited Holocaust survivors to speak to 8th grade students on an annual basis.

He just died at 91. He played the voice of Yukon Cornelius in "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the hand-wringing bigot on the town council in The Heat of the Night, and he played a judge on Hill Street Blues.

Oh wow!! Now I’ll have to look up more information on him. I used to like The Heat of the Night. (If it’s the show I’m thinking of with Carroll O’Connor).

I have the volume up on my speakers, and can't hear the interviewer. This is common for these interviews. It sure would have been nice if they would have amplified the interviewer before uploading.

I thought he look familiar--didn't know him by name. Now I know why Canadian actors and comedians are so good. I always thought it was because Canada had so many talented and intelligent actors and comedians it was hard to get work.

My Uncle Bill who was in the war often told of odd stories like that. It was war, and many lied and snuck into places.
