We arrived in the morning, coming from the metro, and got off at Japão-Liberdade station. As soon as we left the station, we were greeted by the festive atmosphere of the 54th Toyo Matsuri. The square and streets were bustling with life, featuring a vibrant fair that offered a unique cultural experience.
There were countless food stalls serving delicious traditional dishes, fresh juices, and clothing stands showcasing crafts and fashion inspired by Japanese culture. In the center, traditional dance shows captivated everyone with graceful and colorful movements.
We decided to walk around the area, exploring every corner and capturing the folklore of the Liberdade neighborhood. Each street was adorned with Japanese lanterns and decorations, adding even more charm to this famous Japanese district in São Paulo. It was an immersive experience, full of tradition, art, and unique flavors.
