Yea Camille, your great lady! Keep doing what it is you love. I started at 22 years old with my first mustang. That was awhile ago. I'm now 62 in January but it's still in my heart and soul. I still have my second baby, a mare that's now 32 years old. Please never stop living for our beautiful mustangs. Thank you so much for allowing me to continue doing what I so love and miss through you. God bless, stay safe and healthy.

I can’t wait to see what he’s like in about 2-3 weeks from this video. He’s such a handsome boy and has a great trainer working with him 😉😊❤️

Great work with this beautiful guy! Love his willingness to try💗 and your work with him is very helpful to me, a lifelong (60 years) highly trained equestrian, currently working with a very scared rescue horse. Thank you!

He's a beautiful horse. Like you said, he's really going to be a handsome guy when he's washed. You are doing a great job with this guy. Look forward to the videos, especially when he will be comfortable with all you have, and will teach him.

I wish I knew someone in my area that could do what you do. I would love to adopt a wild horse for my daughter, but know nothing about horses so I couldn’t train it for her. You are also an absolutely beautiful woman.

Camille, would you possible please alert people that this is not for anyone and that if they do want to adopt to try the kill pens first? I just saw 5 beautiful mustangs in the kill pen in Louisiana. Unfortunately great trainers make it look easy and people are getting in over their heads?

You really need to put those board to the inside of the pen!!! If the horse hits the fence they won’t bust off, personal I would recommend boards on both sides to make it stronger

Stupid question if the neck wound has pus can you squeeze it to get it out so it will heal faster? My friend back in the day. Had a horse with a wound on his leg..vet pulled scab off cleaned it.made a small nick squeezed it..it healed quick ( aftee 2 months trying to heal.)he said once infection was squeezed out.his body wasent fighting so hard because it lessoned the infection? And it made him feel relief..all i know is it healed quick once the puss was squeezed out..sorry for the dumb question. Also damn back in the day ( havent seen it much now.." Strangles" used to be rampant like covid..love both your boys beautiful. Who ever gets them will be lucky..

If you can squeeze use Desitin-- zinc oxide. Drawing salve.

He looks like he might be fast enough for speed events. Think of the interest that could be generated for a fast mustang! That does tricks!

Wonder is there is actually something in that wound in the throat latch area? Looks like it maybe festering....?

My only critique at this time (6:12) Is this horse is hoof cocking (relaxing) and you aren't rewarding him with a release of pressure. You didn't pause to acknowledge this small give of trust. If I were you I would praise him with some good rubs. Reward them for the smallest try, I'm not saying you don't it's just a gentle reminder. I work with horses too, rescued ones and I know how easy it can be to miss minute signals, when you're focused on a goal of desensitizing. Great job keeping on the pressure after the kick out

she knows what she is doing and everything she does is for a reason. Dont give her trainign advice she is a professional

Since Brutus is still uncomfortable with being touched, just acting normal as if nothing happened and going on gives him more safety. If she'd stop what she's doing just because of a sneeze he might get confused or would eventually start to spook on purpose to make her stop doing whatever he doesn't like. She really does a great job and gives him all the patience he needs ^^

What's that snorting sound they make? I think mostly Mustangs do that--
@pennylane4284 жыл бұрын
Horses snort or blow when they’re excited and also when they’re relaxing.

Obviously knows what she’s doing. Not sure about the wisdom of wearing open toed shoes around a horse.

Guilty about wearing those shoes, too. And barefoot.
