Jealous of your scrap find! woohoo. I love this little box. I wondered if it would be easier to take if off the form including the plastic and then peel the plastic off the fabric. Gonna try with other scraps I have. Love this.

Nice to see your scraps nice and flat. When they are all scrunched up they look like trash. 🇨🇦

😂 I still have the strip scrap pile. This is another stash I found in my studio. Thanks 😊

How cool! It reminded me of the decoupage on glass projects I did a few years ago. I have a big pile of squares I thrifted a while back, nothing will be safe.

Hi… I think you could make your own cardboard mold too. I think that would be fun. Thank you for sharing 😍

I once made a basket with old carpenters glue, scraps and threads over a big nursery pot covered with plastic wrap. It was very difficult to remove the form, and it could use more work, but I wanted a way to use really small scraps. ❤
@ReignvermontАй бұрын
Hi… your pot sounds pretty. I am glad I broke the seal of the glue to the fabric after an hour. I think that was really helpful. Thanks for sharing 💕

This project came out beautiful. Love all the colors. You never disappoint me whenever I see your name I know it will be something beautiful. Use your scraps the way you want to. Instead of them sitting around in a basket they become the basket. What better use for scraps. Thank you for sharing with us.

Trouble is you go into the room and start see some nice material and start making things , you see that’s my problem. Scraps are the worst , you put them together , then oh dear you start sewing . Haha

I'd end up with my fingers mod podged together if I tried this! Love your videos. Thanks!

Great video! I love this project. Your technique of wrapping the box form in plastic wrap seriously opens up so many possibilities. When you watered down your Mod Podge, how much water did you add? Thank you for this fun video! 💕
@ReignvermontАй бұрын
Hi… I am so glad you enjoyed the video. Now I want to wrap and cover everything 🤣 I would say my ratio was one part glue to one part water. Hope this helps. Thanks💗
@stinkbug6827Ай бұрын
Thank you for responding! That seems like a great way to stretch out the Mod Podge. I probably would have used up all my supply too soon. I am enjoying one of your previous videos right now. You are so creative! TFS 💕

I think i would just mod podge right onto the cardboard bos itself. Paint the box white first so the colours dont muddy.

I want to try this too. Thank you for the paint before tip. 🙏💗🙏

I've been doing this onto stabilizer, and I find some pieces don't stick well. I would maybe try it onto fabric. I found sticky machine embroidery stabilizers that worked great!
@ReignvermontАй бұрын
@@amyforet7725 Hi... so you tried your process onto a container like this? There are so many stabilizers out there. Different ones work for different applications. It is fun exploring. Thank you for sharing.

I think I would have put more thought in the bottom when first constructing the basket. Love the idea. Makes me want to purchase some liberty fabric 🥰Great job and love your instructions.

Why did you water the glue?

Hi… mod podge is quite thick out of the bottle. I find it more enjoyable to apply when it is thinner and I feel the end result is just as good. I hope this helps. Thanks 💞

I am recovering from the inability to catch my breath upon seeing this fabric being used in this manner.🫣 It is too precious to me only I’m guessing. I would have used much less valuable fabric to make a catch all. Your end result is quite lovely.

Hi… I am so sorry if I caused you distress. I have so much Liberty scrap left. Tho it seams so strange to call any Liberty scrap. I have to do something with it all. I hope it makes you feel better to know that I already treasure this basket. Thanks 🙏💕
