My goodness your local Goodwill is AWESOME! My Goodwill NEVER has such cool stuff! Don't take such a clean, organized, well-stocked Goodwill for granted!!❤😊

I bought a big bag of fabric scraps at a thrift store a couple of years ago. I could see some pretty wool and what I was sure were fat quarters. The bag was $20. Bought it, dumped it out at home and in the middle of the bag was an entire quilt kit and pattern that had never been open and had the price tag on it. $135!!!! Plus all those fat quarters.

I have a Dressmaker Sewing machine from the 1950's. The head is all metal. The cabinet has the style of the French Provincial furniture (but it needs refinishing). I bought it inside its cabinet at a yard sale for $5.00. It sews; but, it is not my go to machine. I never got into the stamps. Your grandchildren may enjoy tracing on that light box. I would use the light box to trace paper foundation patterns for sewing scraps into beautiful blocks. You lucky lady you. Someone at Goodwill goofed. It gives me hope that I may one day find something super wonderful at Goodwill. Congratulations!

When you were talking about any leftover material or scraps, please remind viewers that Project Linus will take orphan blocks scrap material material you bought and thought you were gonna use but now you’re not. Yes, my sewing room is still a mess. I still have way too many scraps that I think I’m gonna use, but I do periodically try to purge and donate to them. Anything that I’m just not attached to. They have a lot of older Members whom are on fixed incomes and want to sew but can’t afford the material. They make up quilt kits or just let the people have material and bring back the quilts in whatever stage. They have members that just piece quilt tops some that really like auditioning free motion quilt patterns using the project line of quilt and some of the people just enjoy sewing on binding. So please encourage viewers to locate their local project Linus groups thank you.❤ 4:47

Great haul! Yes, I am still using rubber stamps and have taken them all 10K of them off of the wood backing, put cling foam on them and indexed them in Google Keep (that took about two years). I make Junk journals and gelli art prints, plus cardmaking and still some scrapbooking. The scoring board is very useful in card making and journal making. You can make several score lines along a strip of paper to pleat it, for instance. I wish I could find that rotating cutting board at the GW. That's sort of a white whale in the crafting world!
