Liberty of the Seas: Is It Worth It? Honest Review

Thanks for this awesome review! My wife bought me and my daughter a cruise on liberty to the Bahamas for a Christmas gift! My last cruise was Allure of the Sea and it was fantastic! I’ve watched a bunch of videos and it doesn’t look like Liberty is any comparison to Allure but it’s a free gift and I’ll make the best of it. Thanks again!

For Sorentos, you can also bring toppings from the Windjammer that they will make a specialty pizza for you. Like mushrooms, pineapple, etc...I just got home from Liberty 3 days ago

Such a dumb post here! " Bring ingredients from the windjammer and they will make a special pizza for you." All of the ingredients you mentioned are actually in the windjammer! I have no words for this post, sorry.😢😂

This is a great tip if they don't have what you want right there... go get it from the Windjammer! And BTW... mushrooms & pineapple are my go to toppings! Thx, cuz I'm sailing it in 6 days!

I will be on liberty of the seas on September 7, 2024 out of New York City to Bermuda. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous in Bermuda. Its a Hop, skip and a jump from where I live in brooklyn. Thank you for your review. The outdated room doesn’t bother me. As long as it’s clean. The price was affordable.

@@garyjdavis07 I have nothing bad to say about my cruise or the ship in general. I went by myself. I met the nicest people. I had a lot of fun on board. Bermuda is gorgeous. As far as an outdated room, OK so it doesn’t have a plug by the night table and the drapes, I assume is what they’re calling outdated. I don’t care about that. I’m not fussy about things like that. I brought a power strip with me so that I could plug in a few more things. Solution solved. The room was clean, for me that’s the main thing, the bathroom was clean, the bed was firm (new mattress) so I asked for extra cushioning and they gave it to me. Service was good & I gave everybody an extra tip. I’m not a big foodie but the food in the dining room was good. No complaints. I Loved the French onion soup and the people they sat me with were very friendly. Free pizza all day long. I’m a professional singer so I hung out at karaoke. So much fun there and met the greatest people. there is a disco at night, and ice skating rink There’s all kinds of entertainment to pick from. The last night, I cannot remember the name of the show, but the audience participates, the cruise director asks for certain things from the audience and you have to bring it down. All I could tell you, because I don’t want to spoil it, it is the funniest show I have ever been to. I was crying laughing. The ocean was like glass. I had the best time! If there’s anything else you’d like to know just ask me.

I was about to book a cheap cruise on the liberty but after this video I might as well spend an extra $150 a person book an oasis ship

Oasis class ships are on another level and are awesome. For that price I totally agree with you! However, we've been on the Freedom of the seas (same class as Liberty) 2x and had a great time and would go back again. Thanks for watching. 🤗

LOTS was the first cruise ship I've eveer been on. I have no major complaints at all. I wasa solo cruiser and was trated with the utmost respect by everybody. Having nothing to compare with, I was plleasantly surprised. I felt like a queeen the entire time, and was treated as though I was one. I am an older cruiser and wasn't interested in the pool area, except for the Solarium and enjoyed it a lot when the sun bathers left. My only complaint was the food in the dininng room, but I'm very picky. (Bring your favorite spices). I always got a seat at the bar too, which was important since I had the unlimited drink package too😅.

Bringing your own spices, that is a good advice. I agree with you about the dining room. After having the drink package, when you look back did you feel you got your moneys worth? If you enjoyed LOTS you may want to try its sister ship Freedom, very nice and we highly recommend. Thanks for watching!

awesome video guys! what is your fav freedom class ship? ive only been on independence with my wife but we are looking at liberty to sail with our 2 kids (7, 5).

Our favorite Freedom class ship would be Freedom as we have sailed on her 2x within the past few years. We sailed on Independence back in 2014. Between Liberty and Freedom I would do Freedom again because of the updates that it has gone through and the overall feel of it, versus Liberty is in dire need of a refresh. I would even suggest an Oasis class ship to try as you will not be disappointed on the amount of things to see and do. Your little ones may love the boardwalk, carousel and kids club there. Take advantage of the Kids sail free promos as well when they are listed. Thanks for watching! (Please excuse the long answer :)

I went on Freedom pf the Seas back in May. Been on 4 Carnival cruises and just went on Virgin Voyages last month. Im going on Liberty of the Seas next June leaving out of Cape Liberty in New Jersey. Going to stay 2 days in New York. First time leaving out of New Jersey. I always leave out of Florida.

Our family enjoy Johnny rockets! We've had it on Allure of the seas. Breakfast is complimentary at Johnny rockets on the "Oasis class ships" but you still have to pay coverage for lunch/dinner there. I've seen the fresh smoothies/juices at the spa as well. Thanks for watching.

Awesome review! I just booked my first cruise on Liberty, sailing in Nov 2024 and it's still going to be out of Ft Lauderdale. I was invited on the trip by my niece so they picked the ship and dates. I guess there will be 12 in the group if everyone goes. I was never really interested in going on a cruise since I had enough days sailing with the Navy while I was in the Marine Corps. Lol! I'm actually looking fwd. to it though. Don't feel bad Ralf I have the FOMO from time to time as well. Lol! Thanks for the review guys and look fwd. to seeing more of your video's. Maybe after I go on this one we'll run into one another on a future cruise.
