Liberty Walk Lamborghini Miura On The Streets Of Tokyo!

The post-TAS shoot with Liberty Walk is something I’ve been doing for so many years now and always a highlight of the start of the year. Their demo cars have always been some of the most memorable builds of TAS and this can very much be said for 2025 with their Jon Sibal designed Lamborghini Miura and the Kaido Racer inspired R32 Skyline.
We met up with the LBW crew at a 7-11 in Toyosu before heading to the old Tsukiji neighbourhood for some proper Showa-era vibes. Seeing these two wild cars against these backdrops made all their details stand out.

Don’t know anything about your build process, but the paint job, Jon, is amazing. Plays well with the additional body parts and the light, reflecting off of it - all the details, being produced by the light along those lines. Also the contrast to all black parts and the red sprinkles along the lower part is nice. Thumbs up!

As a side bar, as an r33 gtst owner, big thank you for highlighting the fact that the r32 is a type m, not a gt-r. OK, so Ferruccio watched his testdriver Bob Wallace with disdain when he cut up a Miura SV, and riveted bits of aero to it to make it the track-ready Jota. Would he like this one more? Well, I am pretty sure the man would see more elegance and appointedness in this work than in any of the new "Lamborghini Revoltings", or whatever they're called. As for Marcello Gandini: For sure this gentleman wasn't shy of giving the world an occasional kick up the aesthetic bum. Maserati Shamal, anybody? 😄 Anyway, Dino: These LO-CA-TIONS!! Plain wonderful! IMO the Miura is less controversial than the F40. Probably the kit was well designed that it look decent as if it rolled out the assembly line like that. This LB-Silhouette Miura kit is 100x better than the older LB-Works kit.
