Ms. Zerbini must have been one of these majestic equines in a previous lifetime. The energy she resonates with their individual personalities to unify them into a perfect ballet lifts up my day. On queue, the horses did large reverse circle pirouettes and that ending of their performance wherein they placed their beautiful heads on each other's back showed how all ages and breedings work together as a team. My dad had a white Appaloosa that reminds me of Ms. Z's head Appaloosa. I never knew a trainer could manage Appaloosa behavior and performance on the frequency of such exhilarating music which the horses were really enjoying, too. These souls take in Ms. Z. as a member of their tribe. Thank you so much!

@@snewhouse13 Correction: I don't know if any of her horses were Appys. The narrative said there were 8 to 10 gorgeous white Arabians. Now, if there is an Appy in this herd, it wasn't stated, so that's a good catch on your part. She could be a hybrid. However, my memory was thinking of our family horses, and one was a huge solid white Appaloosa; he was either a gelding or stallion. I asked about his coloring but he's in the registry book as Appaloosa. He had some minor speckling around his hooves. The judging just goes by the registry. He was a top show horse. 3 of these horses have the darker manes and tails. You just have to go by the registry paperwork and they're all chipped, so there would be no guessing involved. If she says 8-10 Arabians, that must be so. So many hybrids nowadays, you don't know who's who. Didn't you just love it how the trainer did a quick stop, about-face, and then all the horses followed suit ~~ stopped and about-face? How smart is that! They want to please her and she really knows how to use her body, arms, etc., to communicate direction and next dance routine. Thanks for the correction!

To train 10 horses to work together and perform such a amazing act would take a lot of hard work dedication and love. I am amazed at how they all worked together so well and showed so much love to the trainer and they were all determined to impress the trainer and the audience. Sure there were a few little mistakes but hey nobody is perfect.

Most "free" horses that live in nature are just those that escaped from European settlers. They're invasive and often harmful to the environment. True wild horses are threatened to go extinct because of other feral domestic horses that are settling into their last remaining territories. One species of wild horse ironically only exists in zoos now because horse fans protested against the hunting of the feral domestic horses which drove one of the last remaining wild horses to go extinct in the wild. There's nothing beautiful about a horse that's free in the wild.

If you can't see the beauty in this then why are you commenting. The horses are running to the music and flowing with each other specific ones are sinceonized and they know just where to go. And she never actually "hits" them with the crop do you see how short it is and how far away she is from the horses When she is using it? And the muzzle things are or only just because those horses are a bit nippy. And for the people that say " if it was a true relationship of trust she wouldn't use the whip" for one thing educate yourselves, it called a crop And an other thing. Have you ever tried to train a dog to do basic comands such as sit without any treats or teach them not to go to the bathroom in side with out a little smack on the nose.?? It isn't easy but this is basic herd behavior. She is the leader of that herd. And she only got that position through trust and compasion. The horses respect her.

Arabs, beautiful, high spirited, fun loving and will dump you in a minute if they want to run somewhere without you hanging on their back! That’s what I remember many from moons ago. She was the calmest saddle horse around most times and at other times dumped me at will, lol. That’s what makes the control here so incredible to watch!

@@tracirodewald97 I'm guessing it's because those three were a bit pushy with personal space. It was probably to stop them from biting the others. Or it was because those three were young. If you watch they were throwing their heads and Bucking a bit (trying to play and/or a bit irritated about the others.)

beautifully done. Though I have to ask... does the three first horses have some kind of muzzle on? Why? Is it because those three bite? I don't have anything against it, just curious. The 'muzzle' obviously don't restrict movements, except the opening the mouth of the horses and the horses don't look irritated, well a little, but that's also obvious. It's not a muzzle it's a headpiece and it stops the horse opening it's mouth to much and also to guide the Lol and also for show

Some horses stress poop just from seeing something that makes them a bit nervous(aka my nutty gelding)) who knows though.

Horses are herd animals so they follow the leader. She's simply free lunging them all and focusing on moving the horses in the front. When she splits it them it's because she focuses her attention on the back half and tells them to come in, the rest simply follow. This does take training though as each horse has to be worked with to understand her body language and what she's asking. And of course she needs to make sure they still pay attention to her even with the others around. It's not a hard thing to train but with this many horses it would take considerable time.

Others have spoken for the muzzles/halters so I wont get into that. But the ears are from both listening to the woman, the crowd, and eachother. It's also a warning to other horses, "I don't care if you're listening to her do not put pressure on me". Simply horses being horses. Any irritation they showed was from eachother and most it was just excitement or playing movement.

You can tell by their body shape and size that they're a bit younger than the ones with no muzzle halter. Younger horses tend to be a bit more competitive and nippy/fighty toward other horses while they're learning the pecking order of who's in charge. That's why you see them pinning their ears, kicking, and all that. They're just trying to figure out their place in the herd and the muzzle halter is to just make sure there's no actual biting happening. You can tell it doesn't really bother them and that's how it's supposed to be. They only pin their ears and kick at other horses and not the trainer. She's the boss of the herd and they're looking to find where their place is. Hope that helped a bit!

Lots of kicking, ear pinning and tail swishing... She does a couple tricks with the horses but the rest is free lunging... Anyone can free lunge... And a good relationship doesnt require a whip to get desired behaviors. Anyone who truly understands horse behavior sees that these horses are irritated. And the basket muzzles are strange. I get that they are protective measures but they make the horses shake their heads quite a bit. The black one rubs his head on a pal for a while trying to get it off...

They're not the slightest bit irritated. They're running together, and horses behave exactly like this when they're running together. It's part of these animals having a pecking order. You see how they turn all sweet and well-behaved when they join up with her, and none of their reactions are quick and fearful. That's a major sign of trust. And whips, dear Heather, should be used more as an extension of a person's hand than anything. If these horses were afraid of that whip, they would behave skittishly. They're calm.

Yes, IVe seen Maybe more exciting demos, but if u knew horses, and tryed yrself with even 2 stallions ( everything in them says beat up the other guy, & would never listen to a human, as 24 7 its about mares, eat,run, poop and wheres the mares, the mares the mares...) Well, goodvluck! SO instantly shes got them listening and focusing on her. Its called hooking up and takes alot of work/skill to get them like this, AND to be happy, calm, and focused all at the same time? NOTE: NOT 1 HORSE has his ears back! Watch "others " who do so called natural horsemanship, who maybe famous, and they are making the moves, BUT EARS ARE PINNED THE WHOLE TIME! This is a horse speaking loudly how much they either hate what theyre doing, or the handler. I see, these are all very happy, healthy horses. Also, when a horse moves its feet, it uses its brain, hence the circles. So...next time, if u LOok for these things, maybe more interseting? 😊 Just sayin. No judgements. Have a great day.

Maryjo Felstead The horses are most likely muzzled to keep them from biting each other. And the whip is used for direction and communication, not punishment. If the horses felt like they were in danger of being hurt, they would have killed her by now. They kept running up to her for reassurance and pets. She wad their safe spot.

Their obviously desensitized to the whip. My gelding is spooky as hell and I can crack a whip over his head without him being bothered so it's really about how you use one. It does show better horsemanship to not use a whip but when you're controlling 10 horses it can be helpful for both parties as it can make messages and movements more clear. Considering that all of the horses have pretty much no fear of the whip I would say she's done well.

liberty is actually the horse friendliest method because she trained them to listen to her and to cooperate with the other horses. It's without anythin they are completely free to do it and are not forced, that's the beautiful about liberty training with horses
