This hit in a thousand ways, but especially the numbers… and Bald Eagle… came to mind immediately when you asked us to think of it… but not just Any bald eagle… one of my neighbors, with whom I have interacted regularly since (s)he(?) was first showing first bits of white on the crown… this bird cruises my street most afternoons on the way to hunt on the Columbia River. Months ago, started leaning out window & whistling… the eaglet would circle, & pass again, with an answering shriek… Before long, it started shrieking for my attention, when passing… Today, while realtor was showing house (simplifying my life) I waited at a park 2 blocks uphill from hOme… I saw the eaglet heading toward the house, and held up my arm, in my normal salute/wave, and flight course adjusted to circling above me… like my life is shifting course. I’ll miss that eagle, but know that it will always be there, in my 💜!
