Oh how I needed this story/reading today. I’ve been the BFF for 9.5 years! We spent most of it 1000 miles apart. It wasn’t until I was engaged to marry someone else that he finally broke out his feelings for me. The last few months we haven’t been talking after a really stupid fight. And ironically we now live only 3 miles apart. He called on Christmas but left no voicemail and when I left one I said I want to be your friend. My short story: Last year in my friend’s birthday card whom I have know for many, many years & talk to weekly (we do not live in the same state anymore), I wrote a separate heartfelt note about having crush on him for quite some time. I received a return text when he got the card in the mail how much he appreciated my card, note & thoughtfulness, but no response to what I wrote about having a crush on him. Luckily, it did not change our friendship & how often we video chat or text. At least I know I “put it out there” & without “I feel the same” response, I do not have that “What if” feeling hanging over my head anymore. I am open to meet someone new, exactly like the one you described in your message from your video previous to this one (the one with the “yellow buttercup” lights in the background that your daughter picked out for that video). Deeply resonates. I have been friends with a pisces for a few years now. Ive always had serious connections with that water sign. My eldest brother who passed in 2018, he was my best friend and another friend who was a girl she passed in 2021. They were both very important to me and both died young in bad ways. This one, we met each other through work. Didnt talk much at first but became fast friends. Then noticed we do alot for each other. Theres hints, we mirror each other, usually our energy together makes the entire energy enhanced whoever we are around. Both outside coworkers I think have noticed it before I/we did. Doing things for one another, getting each other gifts, food, drinks etc. I dont think we were exactly each others "type". Not that I really had one. And i think people get hung up over that(women). Until a week ago she stated qualities I had that she had dated when I always just thought I wasnt her type so that was why I never invested. Coworkers have called each other "work wife/husband" and the guy I work closely with has almost tried to put me into situations where we spend time together. He almost said something as if imply I ask her out but cut himself off before actually stating it. Like maybe I didnt see it at the time. She is a single mom who has trusted me with her kid and I have offered to teach him guitar and martial arts. Theres alot more its hard to summarize. But it does feel like a magnetic pull. A good kind of tension like weve never really touched but we both really want to. We both get kind of shy and nervous around each other and I think were both scared the other doesnt feel the same. Which holds us off from making an actual move so we dont potentially jeopardize this connection. We both have alot of outside people coming onto us all the time and I think it gets in the way. I do know that most of my life I have had dreams of a dark haired girl with dark eyes continually pop up that I assume is my person. The last vivid dream years ago I found her under a waterfall so I took that as a positive sign. I kinda let that go until Ive really felt this connection get to where Ive never felt another like it and wonder if shes the dark haired/eyed woman. I just need one strong indication and I will gladly make the move. Im very straightforward and subtle hints kinda confuse me. I hope my intuition is correct because usually its strong. Will update if anything comes of this.

My ex and I had a similar story to this one and to the one you told last week about when you and your GF met and she was 17 and you were so much older and you said it wasnt right, but ended up together anyway a year later. We were friends for 8 years, he was a teenager when we met. He hooked up with someone and moved away for a few years then he came back and wasnt a teenager any more. He was also single again. I saw him and thats when i knew I was in love. It took another 8 months for things to develop and he was the one who kissed me. We always had that special bond, always together then his feelings/fears took over and he got scared and ran. Broke my heart I cant "move on" when i still love him so much. But if I could go back, I'd still do it again

Not sure if I’m just feeling defeated because I did see all of the potential, but have felt he’s no 100% in, or it’s always on his timeline.
