I’m from Jordan 🇯🇴 Amman , my father had cancer and he passed away in 2021 , I went with him to MD Anderson in Houston Texas USA, I was impressed of the resources available, they tried so hard but unfortunately he was over 70 years old so they couldn’t perform a surgery of transplant from my spine, he had blood cancer were his body was not making the white blood cells , so he had to keep adding blood every few days, make story short, this was the worst time of my life, as nice as these people were treating us , I still saw the death in every patient eyes, so many people just nice people that had cancer, no one was talking, also they came with their families, the last 8 weeks were really terrifying to live , this experience made me decide if I ever get that thing , I’d never even think to treat it , I’m so sorry for your friend, I completely understand the pain of having just thoughts of losing the friend or the loved ones , I pray that your friend gets well very soon, I strongly advise to check MD Anderson in Houston, this not a hospital this is a big city with multiple hospitals within itself, must visit to understand or try getting information Good luck
