Library Card Folio Tutorial + All the Printables for Free

Hi dearest crafters! In this video I show you how to make a Mini Library Card Folio with a free printable kit again (see link below). You can make this folio with a minimum amount of tools, so excellent for the beginning crafter. You'll need:

✂ The designs print on 160gsm / 60LB cover paper (or in that weight area)

Hi Tinne and all! I am making this cute project and thought of putting my bone folder in those 2 little pockets to put cards in. I then glue both sides with art glitter glue. It works fantastic. Greetings from Québec Canada!

It's beautiful! I remeber using those cards at the library all my childhood and thru my teens maybe even when I was in my 20's before they phased them out. I used to buy old books discarded by the library and many of them still have the pockets and some even still had the cards still in the pockets in them. Hmm... I haven't been to the library in probably 15 years, whether to to sit in and read stuff in a comfy swing chair, just use the library to borrow a book nor to buy any discarded books. When my son was in elementary school, i helped out in the library a bit. I helped with putting pockets and cards in new books, especially I loved decorating the bulletin boards with a monthly or specialty theme. A couple of times we used the old overhead projectors to project a picture onto a large paper hung on the wall and copied and painted the scene as a large decoration. It was amazing how accurate it was to copy and fun just as long as I didn't stand in the way of the projection. I think it was either the front page of the picture on the front of a child's book or a scene from in the book. It amazed people that the picture could be expanded larger on to clear plastic pages and then project a large image on the wall. It took a few days to paint, but it hung there all year.

I love this project. I have ALWAYS loved the library from a very little girl. For the past 15 years, I have put in many, many hours of volunteering at our local library, & I love it. I will continue to volunteer as long as I possibly can. Ink is an awful price. That's a problem for me too. And it dries up so fast you pretty much have to be using your printer every day. I'm going to see what the price of having things printed at somewhere like Staples will be.
