Wow that library is gorgeous!!!! "The Raven and The Dove" has been my favorite read of 2021 so far. It's not enemies to lovers, it's a re-telling of Tristan & Isolde. I hope you like it! The second book in the series isn't as good. I was a little disappointed. :(

Plain Bad Heroines is amazing. I loved it on audio! If you like Speak I definitely recommend Shout. It's nonfiction about the author's experience writing Speak and the criticism that she got at the time. The way it's written is brilliant!

Speak was my favourite book when I was younger, I didn’t know they’d done a graphic novel! Definitely ordering that now! Would recommend reading the book as the writing is beautiful and quite autumnal but it is super heavy make sure you’re in the right headspace!🥰

Speak is actually based on Lauries novel, I didn't know she adapted it into a graphic novel. But it was such a good book, very moving and important! 📚🧡🎃🍂🍃

You are absolutely right about Speak but it is should a good book. It was adapted into a film which I think is free to watch on KZbin with young Kirsten Stuart as the main character and is worth watching! X

Speak is amazing and very powerful. The graphic novel is adapted from Laurie’s YA novel which is also amazing and well worth a read. There is also a film of it with a young Kristen Stewart playing the main character. Can’t decide which I liked best novel/graphic novel as both were amazing in their own ways. The art work and style was perfect for this story. I don’t think it could have been anyone except Emily Carroll to do it! Hope you enjoy it Jodie. Thanks for your amazing videos. XXX
