This whole fight seems off. I know Roland is a Collored Fixer and is thus very strong. But this feels very wrong. I think Rolands emotions at the moment had him go through every stage of becoming a Distortion. His first form was just him fighting, then when he lost, his emotions became too much. He then became a abnormality. Simply unrefined rage. Then when he lost again, he became either a stronger abnormality or a unrefined distortion. Clinging onto the memories of his wife. But after you defeat him once again and destroy his "Wife", he then comes to terms that she is gone. But now understanding his situation, but his emotions still raging. He becomes a true distortion. That being the last fight. Idk how or what, but I would assume you killing his ass 4 times in a row somehow knocked him out of his distortion form and back to normal. Heavily injured of course.

The fight is about him accepting/coming to terms with his past. Second Phase is the monster he encountered in the Smoke War with Salvador that made him throw up. Third Phase is basically the moment he fell in love with Angelica. And Final Phase is memories of everything he’d done in the Library and all the lives he’d ended in order to try to complete his goal.

Nix is still probably stronger against 99% of encounters, while beast gives you 1-2 str in clashes and -3 to enemy rolls, also strength ignore, but at cost of +2-4 to incoming dmg. nix gives -5 to enemy speed and rolls while giving you additional light and draw. So if your enemy aint powerstacking or using a LOT OF burn/fairy/bleed then nix will be stronger. Eggxodia probably will shine in pure defensive solos with 15 dmg and free light each turn

Nix under normal circumstances or multiple enemies. The beast against single enemies who abuse strength and power boosts...like color fixers.
