So many Librivox recordings are from untrained voices, this effort is a pleasant surprise. Since the only criterion for reading under the Librivox label seems to be a warm heart, often the voices are either of "nail on slate" quality or lacking vibrancy or even basic familiarity with the English language. In this instance, the individual reading Madame Bovary has a pleasant manner of delivery and doesn't present a challenge to the public in terms of maintaining attention. Therefore, once begun, there is a good chance of' that the listening will follow through. Good job!!
