I love how much this game supports alternate playstyles. From what I've read most new players just stick to fire/ice/lightning, while I found a cozy niche with phase/corruption/necromancy. Necromancy and delirium are pretty similar with various tradeoffs, meanwhile, while corruption and phase can each synergise differently with other sigils. Of course, phase and corruption are huge powerhouses even on their own.

Hi! True, a lot of things are possible, but because you get a lot of magic types later in the game, fire and ice are leveld up really high until then, so there is quite a tradeoff. But it really does shine in letting you do&choose what you want. It's amazingly complex; if you want it to be :-)

Fire/Ice/Kinesis was my setup for awhile, but then I swapped Ice out for Lightning later. I'm carrying 2 synergies ATM- Singularity & Supernova. Corruption is another one of my fave sigils- it's cool how you can have bugs burst out of a killed enemy & take down others.

Just bought this game and im so far liking it. It's into my wanting a game that focuses on just magic. I hope more games like this just more open world.

Hi! Yeah, there aren't many game like this, esp. not at this level of magic-customization. Off the top of my head I can only think of Skyrim (although I didn't really use magic, but at least it would be open-world^^)

On my 2nd playthrough, I've started using Necromancy instead of Lightning, & I love it too much to go back. This helped massively with the boss demon at Shax's Lodge. When he starts calling in his own minions, it's showtime.

I have these spells equiped but I can't get past the second boss couse I can't use quick blink

This game is quite a trial and error which spell combinations work and don't... but I never got stuck, tbh.

Ehm, not really... it sometimes may look like it but it's actually only one path That doesn't distract from the frantic gameplay though :D

It is a whole lotta fun! But, very repetetiv too and the leveldesign ... isn't the best. A mediocre game, that one just must try :-)

Think its because of the console version before they were patch were terrible. Ive just bought it on psn for £1.50 and i think its pretty dam good

​@@darrencatling6151 It's with a lot of games: most don't get finished when released, only after. Which just hurts them overall. In the past you mostly had finished games which were reviewed (patches via CD or internet were uncommon at first). That's why imho today you can't buy a game at release. You have to wait around a year and if it's getting constant patches (X, NoManSky, Witcher), it'll not be like the release version and probably really great :-)
