Got one of these used from a dude on Reverb. Using it in front of a prs mt15 that i also just got. The mt15 seemed pretty tight already but now it's ubertaught. I'm now lvl2 noob chugs! Lots of chug patterns with the occasional metallica riff in there.

Just ordered one. I'm curious to see how it stacks up to my KSR EROS, Dirtytree and Fortin 33. All the demos for this guy are for the older version, Imo this newer version gives much more control over the overall tone hitting the front of the amp.

Thoughts on running this before an audio interface to squeeze clarity? I'm typically running just dry instrument into my UR22C interface with NeuralDSP plugins and sometimes separate cab IR's straight after.

Not sure why someone would think that it would add clarity. Anyway, it may be okay and the only reason would be I guess boost before your plugin of choice. In any event I wouldn't do it...because it's not an amp or modeler your boosting. As long as the gain staging is ok it may work...idk I'd get a real amp to boost this with. The Peavey 6505+ is 600 used for a head

Do you know the difference between this and the Aquaria? Both say they can be used for clean boost.

The aquaria is a overdrive with a clean blend, some clipping options and of course overdrive, plus it doesn't have that that cut feature for the super tight tones.
