The different results might be the slight difference in humidity inside the sensor case. Can you calibrate them? I have seen them in LIDL and was tempted to get one. The weather patterns are weird now and I don't suppose that will change for a long long time as the atmospheric damage has been done. Here is a very weird phenomenon. The article comes from "The Standard" newspaper. The BBC had an article about it also. In a post on X, the Met Office said: “There has provisionally been a new UK January daily max temperature record set today at Kinlochewe where the temperature reached 19.6C. “This beats the previous January UK record of 18.3C set at Inchmarlo and Aboyne in 2003 and Aber in 1958 and 1971.” Very strange weather for January. 😶‍🌫👍👍

I am not impressed by the fact all 4 units showed different readings when they were grouped together in the same location. No, you cannot calibrate them, or at least there is no indication in the instructions. It is still working. A couple of weeks back, I thought I might need to change the batteries in the main unit, as the display seemed less distinct, but I haven't and it seems OK. To be honest I hardly look at it now. The excitement of a "new toy" has passed, and I have gone back to using my thermometer in the shelter as my reference for the weather report in my morning "shorts" video. I briefly did a series of shorts where I used the sensor and two thermometers to give 3 different readings each morning and established they all disagreed with each other, so it wasn't helping.

@LunaNosille that depends entirely on what you want it for. I thought it would be interesting, but after the initial excitement, I rarely look at it. It works. The main unit does eat batteries and really should have been designed with an external power adapter. When you replace the batteries, it forgets the custom details you added, like the names of the remotes. And, as I said in the video, the readings disagree with each other if you stand the remotes next to each other, so that was disappointing. The question you need to ask yourself is, why do you want one? At the moment, it tells me it is 32C in the shed, 30C in the conservatory, 24C in the living room, and 26C in the bedroom. Plus, it tells me the humidity in those locations. Plus the time and date. Do you need to know that?

@@LunaNosille since my last reply, I don't think I have looked at it more than a couple of times, and even then it was probably because you had commented and that reminded me to look. The batteries have been flat in the main using for a few weeks now and I haven't bothered to replace them. I do have a friend who had expressed an interest in it, so I might give it to him as a present 🤣
