Copped myself one of these yesterday & couldn’t be happier, I’ve only used petrol saws in the past (mainly makita’s) & honestly the parkside delivered a lot more than expected

All things considered it's a great saw. I use it for small jobs where I really can't be bothered to get out the petrol one, mix up the fuel etc... which will, increasingly, I suspect be most jobs. Many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!

True beast machine. I bought one of this Parkside chainsaw 20v PKSA20-LIC3 Mid May 2024, luckily the one I bought was the last one in my local Lydl. I think Lydl stopped selling this series. but there's a new one but it's smaller. There are also some others from Parkside called Pruner for long reach branch cuts. They are good stuff the product items made by Parkside.

I definitely need one of those next time they have them - although I'll have top get the batteries and charger too because I don't have anything from that range. Perfect for the sort of job you were doing and that's about all I'll need it for - I'm not planning to go into tree felling or anything like that. Quiet is also good - people do tend to get upset when there's a small petrol engine running nearby.

alas I don't have any at the moment to try it on. when the tips are properly open I do have several large branches to trim that over hang my neighbor's garden, I can film chopping those up if it helps.

Not tried it so can't answer if it is possible. As to the issue of problems, well you would need more power and as you don't have it might degrade the motor. Many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!

You should use to warranty.You won't be able to use the full capacity of the chainsaw with just a 2amp battery, for me this is not good.

Hi. I am very late in asking a question, so apologies. Roughly, how long does the battery last?
@BensWorkshop3 жыл бұрын
There's no time limit on asking questions. Difficult to tell, you could easily fell and cut up a small tree, say 20 foot. In the jobs I have used it for I have not run out of battery. PS, you have asked the same question twice.... Many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!

Could I chop up my neighbour with this ... she’s a big boned porker and her little boyfriend on one full charge ...? Seems cheaper option than paying for a couple of fellows from the pub who might struggle chop cleanly into a bag and may want extra for the hush hush. Any thoughts gladly received ,as for oil should I use olive ,baby oil or just go dry ?

It looks kind of weak if i am being honest. I have the Parkside 20v impact driver which is great would highly recommend, i have the 20v 1/2 inch impact wrench which i would highly recommend, the 20v angle grinder which is great if you don't push too hard, but i wouldn't recommend the 20v drill normal parkside or parkside performance tbh i have had both and the chuck centering is just awful, i thought it would be better on the parkside performance as it cost me £100 for the kit but the chuck really isn't any better for the extra money which sad/ annoyed about, it will be getting returned tbh if it can't be fixed. Also i have the 20v circular saw and the blade is 90 degrees but the actual direction of the blade isn't straight so it doesn't cut properly so that will be going back soon too, or replace it with another one if that doesn't have the same issue. As of the 5th of April they will have a few DIY things in like the circular saw, 20v parkside performance sds drill (apparently has had issues when it was sold in Europe the motor smoking and burning not good, i think there is a video of it happening to someone of youtube.) and a 20v heat gun which will be interesting to try lol.
@BensWorkshop3 жыл бұрын
The chainsaw is fine for what it is. You do need the 4AH battery though. I have had no such issue with any of the drills, though I do not have the big battery SDS drill (I do have its mains powered equivalent which is great). @@BensWorkshop If you put a long bit in the chuck how much cam out / wobble is there in the tip? As I have had 3 of the older 20v combi drills all having horrible drill wobble and the parkside performance which also has it.
