That's such a good price for a nice looking tool - I've had a Hitachi cordless circular saw for about 15 years and it's still going strong - goes with me everywhere - sure it's not as powerful as my corded saws but so convenient not having a cable etc etc.

I doubt it is as powerful either but it is just so convenient to use a cordless on some jobs.

Always remove the battery when changing the blade, or one day you will lose your fingers.

Not a bad recommendation but this circular saw like most modern power tools requires two buttons to be pressed to get it to run.

@@BensWorkshop Sound advice from Vincent for you there Ben, I certainly wouldn't be putting my safety in the hands of two buttons!

Vincent J: absolutely right, friend of mine almost lost half of his palm, cut bones, tendons, veins, only a quick surgeon's help saved his hand, but for over half a year his hand was inoperative. A split second and you're f***ed.

the 2 i have atm, the blade is not square to the sole plate, so when cutting a long cut against astraight edge the blade goes off out of line, did you check that

I have not had any problems. You can set the blade angle unless you meant that it is not square front to back. Many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!

Hi there can you help me i have the same saw which i bought 2nd hand goid condition it has an 18v battery with it but you put an 2ah battery which i tryed but could not fit can you please help to advise me many thanks
@BensWorkshop Жыл бұрын
When you say the same saw, do you mean the 20V Team Parkside? It does not sound like one of those. Batteries are specific to one manufacturer and series of tools. I don't recall Parkside doing an 18V one though they did do a 16V one. If it is Parkside you can find their service site and see it they can sell you batteries.
