Great video I've been down there at night in the field right next to the chapel to do a mini paranormal investigation, would've done it in the chapel but the grounds were too boggy! It was eerie but was pretty quiet on my devices

Well done to you both, very enjoyable walk. I hope you eventually found some dock leaves to ease the sting. Thanks

It turns out I was bitter by an adder. Only found out recently after seeing a nurse for the wound.

I hate stinging nettles. The funny thing is my garden here in Spain is prone to growing nettles. They look just the same as English stinging nettles, but they don't sting. Nevertheless, I still do my best to erdicate them. Nice to see the views from Little Haldon. Reminds me of when I was at school in Teignmouth (in the late 60s), we sometimes would go up to Haldon and do Orienteering. It was good fun. One of my classmates really got into it, and even did international competitions.

Nice one...thought you were going to have something happen at the end there. Like someone or thing jumping out. lol. All the best.

To be honest, we were hoping for something to happen, but it seemed to get less eerie as the night went on.

Very interesting. There was obviously some work carried out many years ago to protect and identify the ruins, it couldn’t have been easy to haul all that iron fencing out to such a remote location. With a bit of a tidy up and some publicity the ruins could become quite an attraction with their macabre back story.

This is possibly a Smugglers FGost story. The smuggled goods was hidden in the well and if anybody saw miovement in the Ca[el ruins they wwere tld aboy the ghost and it kept people away. Dawlish and Teignmouth were smuglers haunts. There is a tunnel from the Parson & Clerk cave to the old Lobster Inn in Holcombe. Keep serching, vidios interesting.

That site needs clearing and marking out properly. Interesting story to it. Got to say your other half is quite brave, especially round nettles. Look forward to your next walk together.

Flip flops - or thongs as we call them here in Australia. Try wearing those here out in the bush and yeah, watch out 😁
